In the heart of Nashville, one name stands tall in the world of country music – Craig Morgan. A true classic, Craig has carved his path to stardom with over 25 chart-topping hits, 1.5 billion career streams, and the ultimate accolade: induction into the Grand Ole Opry.
ut Craig Morgan isn’t just a singer-songwriter from Nashville; he’s a genuine product of this city’s musical soil. Hailing from Kingston Springs, he witnessed legendary country artists weaving their tales right in his backyard. In Craig, we find the essence of “MY Nashville,” the embodiment of the passion and artistry that make this town what it is. Nashville is where country singers and songwriters are destined to thrive.
Before his rise as a country music star and television sensation, Morgan dedicated seventeen years of his life to the Army and Army Reserve. A true patriot, his commitment to serving his country shines through as he expresses, “I really enjoy writing music, touring, and entertainment, but nothing has ever made me feel as accomplished as being in the United States Army and feeling like I’m a part of something that is so much greater than myself.”
With iconic songs like “Redneck Yacht Club,” “International Harvester,” and “This Ole Boy” to his credit, Craig has been a shaping force in the country music landscape. However, he humbly attributes his success to divine guidance, as he shares in an exclusive interview with our Publisher. “We can’t do God’s work,” he reflects, “Only God can do God’s work, and I just try to see where he’s working. Every chance I get, and to be a part of it… Every time I think that I should be doing something else, God... tells me that you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.”
In a remarkable moment, on July 29, 2023, Craig Morgan surprised a Grand Ole Opry crowd with a jaw-dropping enlistment and swearing-in ceremony into the U.S. Army Reserve, right on the famed stage. “The military is in need,” Craig emphasizes regarding why he chose to make this pivotal step a public spectacle. “And hopefully, this will encourage people. That if I can do it while I’m in this career, anyone can do it.” He looks forward to continuing his career in music while serving his country, emphasizing that “the military is in need, now more than ever.”
The year 2023 has been a flourishing chapter in Craig’s career as he wrapped up his “God, Family, Country 2023” tour, in collaboration with Operation Finally Home. He also unveiled a new EP, aptly named “Enlisted,” with Broken Bow Records. This record features reimagined renditions of his classic hits, accompanied by fresh tracks, with a star-studded cast that includes Lainey Wilson, Luke Combs, and Blake Shelton. Nashville is no stranger to musical dynasties, and at the heart of this vibrant scene is singer-songwriter extraordinaire, Brady Seals. With a family tree that includes legends like Jimmy Seals (of Seals & Crofts), Dan Seals, and Troy Seals, Brady’s musical journey has been a colorful one, weaving through genres and generations.

rady Seals first caught the spotlight as a dynamic force in the Grammy-nominated group Little Texas during the 1990s. His tenure as keyboardist and co-lead singer brought forth a string of chart-toppers like “What Might Have Been,” “God Blessed Texas,” and “My Love.” These hits weren’t just catchy tunes; they became anthems that still have folks in Nashville tapping their feet and singing along. The year 1996 marked the launch of Seals’ solo career, a venture that showcased his versatility as he teamed up with Rodney Crowell for the Warner Brothers album, “The Truth.” His collaboration with
country powerhouse Wynonna Judd on “Another You, Another Me” resonated with fans and solidified his reputation as a musical chameleon. But Seals wasn’t content with sticking to one style. From 1999 to 2001, he delved into the pop/rock world, showcasing his engineering, producing, and songwriting prowess with the album “Thompson Street,” a collaboration with pop innovator Andy Sturmer. His musical horizons continued to expand as he formed Hot Apple Pie in 2002, earning the title of “Music City’s Super Group” and making waves with their debut album featuring none other than country icon Willie Nelson.
Fast forward to the present, and Seals continues to defy expectations. His latest project, Seals & Crofts 2, is a unique and organic partnership with Lua Crofts, daughter of Darrell “Dash” Crofts. The duo breathes new life into the iconic hits of the ‘70s rock duo Seals & Crofts, taking classics like “Summer Breeze” and “Diamond Girl” and giving them a fresh twist that pays homage to the past while embracing the present. Adding to the excitement, Seals has recently dropped his version of the timeless anthem “God Blessed Texas,” accompanied by his memoir, “God Blessed Texas & Me Too.” It’s a testament to his enduring passion for creating music that connects with audiences of all ages. RYAN WHYTE MALONEY’S LIFE IN MUSIC
I realized at age 9 I could play guitar. As a kid, music would uplift me and make me feel calm, like a spiritual connection. I always felt like music was a language I knew and didn’t have to think about.
I
t’s as if it was embedded in my DNA. Music was the only thing I thought about and could envision myself doing with my life. I started writing my own music at age 17. I’ve been in the studio world since I was a child and in my 20’s I worked at Odds On studio, song writing, performing background vocals and guitar. I then co-produced my own album that I spent over a year working on. Ultimately, my dream was to soar with singers I looked up to as a kid. When I first heard Rascal Flatts, I identified with Gary LeVox’s vocal range and realized I had a place in the country music scene as well. I moved to Las Vegas to be a rock star and to escape my country roots of Traverse City, Michigan. Going back home later

when I was older and realizing I AM country and that’s the majority of what I sing and produce now makes me realize how it all came full circle. I guess it’s true…you can take the boy out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the boy. Country music is my favorite genre to sing because I feel like I approach it with

a sort of sophistication. I put feeling and my soul into it. I can sing multiple genres of music and I like to add some flare to my vocals to give it a different spin. When I decided to be on The Voice, I knew I would sing the song, Easy by Rascal Flatts. When I arrived, they asked if I could sing Rascal Flatts and Journey. I sang What Hurts The Most and Lights. I had to put all my gigs in Vegas on hold and hope they were still there when I returned. It was the biggest test of faith of my life. I was about to not only sing but also play guitar which they had to approve first, because they don’t usually allow that on the show. The lights came on, I started singing and playing guitar and I turned four chairs. In the battle rounds, I got paired with a partner and we were given three songs to choose from. I told my battle partner the only option there was for me to sing Easy. I won a few of the battle rounds, solidified a place in the top 5 and returned to appear on the season finale. I’m currently performing live almost every night in Las Vegas. My record label, Belle Chasse Records is planning my upcoming tour to support several singles on my new album, I’m Gonna Live. We recently released a music video
and single for Don’t Put Me In A Box and Love With Nowhere To Go. Both were filmed partially in my hometown of Traverse City, MI and in my current home, Las Vegas, NV. I have several more songs and videos to be released this year. Don’t Put Me In A Box has been played on country FM radio since January of 2023 and Love With Nowhere

To Go is hitting the airwaves now. I’ve been traveling nationally, performing and conducting interviews at radio stations. I recently opened for Parmalee in Las Vegas and performed at a festival, opening for Frank Ray. I’m excited about what the future holds and enjoying the progress in my career.

Held at the historic Jefferson Street Sound Museum as part of the North Nashville Culture Crawl Festival, the night paid homage to the late jazz legend, Paul Hanna. Attendees, numbering around 200, were treated to the captivating vocals of Jazz Crooner Tanya Hanna, transporting everyone on a sonic journey. The performances by AMC students— Aria Hanna, Elijah Smith, Tristan Hanna, and Jeremiah Norman—were a clear
demonstration of the studio’s dedication to nurturing young talents. Beyond the melodies, the night was a poignant tribute to Paul Hanna, a jazz maestro who left an indelible mark on the music world. The legacy lives on through events like these, where music becomes a bridge connecting the past to the present. One remarkable student, Dylan Knowles, a protégé of the late Paul Hanna, started his piano journey at the tender age of 6. His rapid progression and love for performing were showcased at various venues, including a special dinner event hosted by Ambassador Julio Cesar Gonzalez Mechante. Dylan’s story embodies the spirit of AMC, where passion meets mentorship, and dreams find their melody. 5 WAYS TO GET AND KEEP YOUR HOME ORGANIZED Being a wife mom and a business professional who works crazy hours, it can seem impossible to keep up with staying clean and organized. However I have found these tips and tricks help me stay on top of things throughout the week!

I personally use an app called “Out of Milk” it tracks my shopping trends, coupons at my local stores, and the best part is my husband and kids also downloaded the app and we can all update the shopping list in real time this way we never have to double back to the store (it’s a real time and money saver).

Take 15 mins out every night to clean the following. Do the dishes after dinner, vacuum and sweep (I have a dog so vacuuming needs to be done daily in my house) if you don’t have pets you can do every 3 days or so. And take out the trash. This keeps my home tidy during the week and allows me to just do the detailed cleaning on the weekends!

Wipe down the sink and fixtures, clean the toilet itself (gross, I know sorry, I hate this part) then clean the shower and don’t forget to clean the shower doors or shower curtain! I clean out my pantry once a month and donate any food that isn’t going to be eaten any time soon, same with my families clothes (I have two growing sons) when the jeans and sneakers get to small it goes into the donation pile and gets dropped off once a month. Same for my clothes as well. I’ve lost a ton of weight and keep losing so I am donating all my clothes that are now too big. My rule is if we haven’t used it in a month and don’t think we will be using it next month it gets donated or thrown out! This way we avoid clutter and hoarding.
The main thing to remember is a little mess never hurt anyone, and family time should always come first, we all aren’t perfect. But if you can try this routine or even add in some to-dos of your own it will cut down on your stress immensely and give you more time on the weekends with your family. AND THAT’S WHATS IMPORTANT! nhealthy water is the #1 cause of death for children in the world. When we hear this, we think of 3rd world countries, and we should. But, it greatly effects adults as well, and yes, in America – you & me. I am a Chemist & BioChemist, working in the water treatment field for 47 years, both in the USA & 3rd world countries. As Americans, we need to be educated on water. WATER IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA… TOXINS, HORMONES, & CARCINOGENS
The greatest exposure Americans have to carcinogens is in the shower. Just as the 2nd most effective way to inject a drug into our bloodstream is inhalation, we need to realize that whatever toxins, hormones, and /or carcinogens are in our water, inhalation of shower mists will result in the water contaminants to be absorbed directly into our bloodstream in 3 seconds as we breathe in the shower mist. We should have concerns regarding what is in our city waters, such as pharmaceuticals, hormones, fluoride (among many concerns regarding fluoride is that it is a hormone confuser). And the big one – carcinogens – are formed from the regular breakdown of chlorine in the presence of organics – particularly when potable water sources are lakes & rivers. Well water concerns are heavy metals, mal taste and/or smell, along with viruses & bacteria, depending upon the water.
GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES Prior to 2004, our home regularly tested over 10 ppm of chlorine in city water from our kitchen faucet. The government did not have strict chlorine guidelines prior to 2004 for potable
water. Yet, if a public swimming pool tested over 3.0 ppm of chlorine, it was mandated that everyone get out of the pool. But, the allowable drinking water limit for chlorine by the government is 4.0! The conclusion? We need to self-educate and take personal responsibility for ourselves and our family.

Flush your water heater Your water heater is used every day, which means you probably have buildup and sediment inside. All you need is a bucket and common knowledge of your tank; this will greatly help the longevity of your system. Replace batteries in smoke and CO2 detectors The dreaded beep of the smoke detectors. Changing these batteries at least once a year is always the smart choice to avoid those annoying beeps, but also to always make sure your home is safe from unsafe exposure. Look for leaks, everywhere Every faucet you can think of, and even the toilet, should be checked every couple of months for leaks. It is usually just an old washer that needs to be changed, but this simple fix can save you from mold, paint damage, water damage, and wood rot. Vacuum your dryer vents and air ducts It’s safe to say we all want to avoid dryer fires. If your clothes aren’t drying quick or there is a weird smell, it may be time to clean the vent. And the same goes for your air ducts, and while you can clean ducts yourself, it’s best saved for a professional. Check and replace your air filters Want your air conditioning and heating unit to last longer, peek at your air filters every couple of weeks and see if it needs to be changed- especially during cold winters and hot summers when the unit is constantly on!
