This is your
Stewardship 2020 To be a part of what God is doing at VPC in 2020 Commitment Sunday, November 17. What does that mean? Once a year, VPC sets aside time during worship to take the opportunity to signal a commitment to what God is doing in our lives, in our community, and in our world. Thanks to you, the ministry of VPC can happen. We ask, if you're able and willing, to indicate your support for VPC in 2020. It may be financial support, volunteering, praying for the church, or all three. Thank you for the ways in which you are God's hands and feet at VPC, and thank you for helping make this community vibrant and faith-filled!

Care & Support
Receiving help from the community of healing
VPC supports hundreds of orphans and families in Malawi. Recently we broke ground on a Secondary Boarding School that will serve 200 learners every year, enabling the learners to thrive in their education instead of walking up to 20 miles every day to and from school. We help numerous families in Phoenix to transition from homelessness back into the community. We helped create a headquarters for Family Promise and renovated existing space to double the capacity of families served to over 150 per year. Through MentorKids, we provide after-school and summer programs for at-risk youth throughout Phoenix and Scottsdale. The newly opened Promised Neighborhood in Scottsdale is currently serving over 25 families.

Invitation to Be Whole
Why do we pledge? Everything we love about our church is made possible by our gifts. A big thank you to all for your generous support of NAMI Valley of the Sun Walk. This year, we had a team of 19, with 14 walkers, raising $2,280 so far! VPC's members included Janeen Bailey, Susan Krecker, Kirby Kongable, Barbara Blair, Andrea Isaiah, and Elizabeth Weiss. Don't forget, it's not too late to ask others to donate to this effort. Each dollar raised goes directly toward providing no-cost resources, support, and programs to people in need. Together, we can improve the lives of those who live with mental illness and their loved ones. Many thanks again, Elizabeth Weiss, Team Captain North Valley Walkers/NamiWalks
