Hope for healing

Are you estranged from family or friends? Estrangement is an emotional distancing, a cessation of communication. It is prevalent and hard to talk about; we want to help. We will discuss reasons for estrangement, how to deal with our pain and guilt, and successful steps for reconciliation.

2018 "Per Capita" $34 per member In the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), each church pays a predetermined amount, determined by church membership, to bring leaders together and serve the denomination. VPC covers the $34 per member, but reimbursements coming in designated “Per Capita” allows us to support other areas of ministry.

Master Plan Model

We invite you to come take a look at the model displayed in the church office. The VPC Master Plan Team and Jones Studio have envisioned a single primary worship space, a new heart for our campus, and a greatly improved facility for families, hospitality, and outreach. Without building any new structures, they have envisioned a way to reorganize and renew our existing spaces that accomplishes all these goals in a way that is beautiful and powerful. It is a transformational plan.

Who We Are: How do you Lent? Why we are here VPC is a community that believes God calls us to be in relationship. Sunday morning worship is a time to gather, connect, and give thanks to the Creator who loves us without end.

Get connected at VPC Want to learn more about what’s going on at VPC?

The season of Lent has embedded itself into our culture. "What are you giving up for Lent?" is asked by people with no affiliation with a church and no experience with faith. Why? Because the idea of sacrificing something to be a better person is compelling, for Christians and non-Christians alike. This notion of self-sacrifice is noble, but incomplete. The power of Lent is not in what we give up, it's in what was given up for us.

Grab a Ministry Brochure, go to the Welcome Center after worship or visit vpc.church for information about classes, events, opportunities to serve, and anything you see in the FOCUS.

No matter what you may be giving up for Lent this year, join us at VPC as we learn, honor, mourn, and celebrate Christ's journey and victory over the cross.
