1) Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and then finely chop your rosemary, zest 4 lemons and crush your garlic

2) Melt 25g butter and mix in your chopped rosemary, lemon zest and garlic, add some oil if need be

3) Add salt and pepper to your chicken, be sure to cover it well

4) Using a pastry brush, coat your chicken all over with the garlic butter mix you prepared earlier

5) Squeeze lemon all over the chicken and stuff the chicken with half a lemon

6) Place the chicken in the oven, check after 50 minutes and coat with the chicken juice in the tray

7) Leave the chicken in the oven for another 20 minutes or until cooked (I always double-check with a temperature probe!)

8) Serve with some crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, gravy, and vegetables and pair it with red wine

CreamyWinter WalnutPasta

This Creamy Winter Walnut Pasta takes basics such as mushroom, cream, and garlic and adds a bit of pizzazzwith mascarpone, walnuts and parmesan And a few easy, hearty sides to round it out - asparagus tips, garlic bread and salad It was fun to try to create a tasty meal, easily scalable for a larger party within a reasonable budget Cooking at home and including your veg doesn’t have to come at a large hit to your wallet!

Recipe for two:

Chop one packet of mushrooms

Sauté two cloves of garlic with 2 tbsp of olive oil (no need to chop!)

Add chopped mushroom and cook for a few minutes until cooked through Grate 1/4 cup of parmesan

Add cooked mushroom, parmesan, 1/3cup of walnut, 1/3 cup of mascarpone, and 2 tbsp of single cream to blender Boil 250g (1/2 bag) pasta in salted water

Add sauce to the pan, and let cook a bit Add a bit of pasta water to thin and a pinch of pepper Add the cooked pasta to the sauce Top with some parsley and chopped walnuts when serving for extra crunch!

Grab a nice refreshing glass of white wine to help complement the hearty flavours For sides, I made grilled asparagus with olive oil, sea salt and pepper And some garlic bread ciabatta pieces for easy handling! Not pictured were my attempt at smashed Brussels sprouts but will be for another day and salad with croutons and parmesan

What

drew you to Bicester

Village? I've visited Bicester Village once before, and I absolutely loved it It’s a great escape away from London, and the surroundings are just so lovely To be invited to visit during the festive period was something I found really exciting

How was the journey from Central London? The journey was very smooth and comfortable, as it’s literally a straight train from Marylebone and we arrived in about an hour.

I also love Benefit because they have a wonderful collection of make-up. Superdry is also amazing especially as I'm an ambassador It’s always great working with them and wearing their autumn/ Winter collection.

Which are some of your favourite shops? I loved visiting North Face to see the new puffers as it’s absolutely freezing right now!

How was your overall experience? Overall I had an amazing day There isn't one thing, in particular, I would prioritise. It’s a full day out of London, so definitely bear in mind that you would need a few hours to shop around and also sit down to eat Wrap up warm as it's is outdoors, and it's winter so it is super cold Most importantly and have a wonderful day out of London... treat yourself!
