Nominations are being sought by the Lansing Business Women’s Association for the annual ATHENA Award. The award is part of a national and international program that recognizes individuals for professional excellence, community service and playing a part in aiding women in their professional and leadership roles. The award will be presented on November 14 at the Evening of Thanks Volunteer Recognition Dinner where special volunteers are also named from Lansing’s service organizations, schools and churches. Nomination forms can be obtained at t he Village Municipal Center, Ridge Animal Clinic, the Fashionette, Schultz Insurance and the Lansing A rea Chamber of Commerce and must be returned by September 28.
