Priest Puts Heart into Church

St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Calumet City held their summer fest July 11-13th. Thanks to their wonderful Pastor Father Jacek A. Dada and all their volunteers, everyone had a good time. Fat her Jacek i s second to none i n t he C h ic ago Archdiocese. He learned to be a priest in Krakow, Poland, behind the iron curtain, where the communists put chains on the doors of the churches. When he says a mass, it is beautiful and truly from his heart and soul. When Father Jacek arrived at St. Andrew’s parish, the ancient boilers broke. So he had to learn to be a construction engineer. He not only installed new boilers, he transformed St. Andrews to its original construction. He added upgrades of electric, roofing, brick work, sidewalks and lighting. At the present, he is having the stained glass windows and sound system restored. The parishioners of St. Andrews parish would like to thank Father Jacek for being a dedicated pastor and looking over his flock of parishioners.
