Question: What recourse do I have if I disagree with the judge’s decision in my case? Answer: Most decisions of a state or federal trial court can be reviewed by an appeals court for any errors of law. If the court finds an error that contributed to the trial court’s decision, the appeals court may reverse that decision. Once an appeals court has made its decision, however, the opportunity for further appeals is limited.

You are cordially invited to the Dolton Village Board Meeting on Monday evening May 6, 2013. The swearing in of newly elected officials will take place during the regularly scheduled board meeting. Riley Rogers will be sworn into the office of Mayor of Dolton, and newly elected trustees Tiffany Henyard, Stan Brown, and Robert Hunt will join Cathern Bendell and Sabrina Smith on the Village Board. Mary Kay Duggan will be sworn in as Riley Rogers Village Clerk. Please join us on Newly Elected Dolton Mayor Monday, May 6 at 7:30 pm as Dolton begins a new chapter of responsive and progressive government. Dolton Village Hall is located at 14014 Park Ave. Additional information is available at (708) 849-4000.
