Happy Anniversary Lynnie Ques

Wow, f ive yea rs ! Thank you to a ll my loya l, loya l customers. We could not have done it without you! My thoughts of opening a small business in Lansing, where I grew up, was a goal I was determined to succeed at. After 17 years of being the general manager at Popolano’s, I was ready for a smaller scale of the food service. My passion and love for cooking and customer service - as well as the challenge of running a business - has and will always be there. We have created friendships with our customers. We look forward each and every day to serving you the best we can. For five years, we have given the hometown, home cooking to Lansing. We can’t thank you enough! We will continue to serve you and the community for years to come. We have a full line of catering needs to fit your budget. If it’s not on the menu, just ask. We can prepare almost anything! Thanks for your business and we hope to see you soon!

World Book Night is a celebration of reading and books which will see tens of thousands of people share books with others in their communities across America, the U.K. and Ireland to spread the joy and love of reading on April 23. This date was chosen in honor of the death date of Cervantes. It is also the birth as well as the death date of Shakespeare. This night is dedicated to the hope that people who don’t read much or not at all will become inspired by one book and to go on to read more. There will be volunteer “Givers” strategically placed throughout the Village of Lansing specifically to hand out copies of books to non readers to help them get started on their journey into the world of books. We are excited to announce that Lansing Public Library has been selected to be one of the volunteer book pick up points across America. World Book Night “Givers” can pick up their books beginning the week of April 14 during regular library hours at the upstairs Circulation Desk at the Lansing Public Library 2750 Indiana Avenue Lansing IL 60438
