POWERFUL COMBINATION

Jayson Dixon ’25

Legal Studies + Philosophy (majors) + Physics (minor) • Serving in Peace Corps

Jayson Dixon, from Jackson, N.J., developed his powerful combination with a sense of purpose. Dixon double majored in Legal Studies and Philosophy with a minor in Physics. At RWU, Dixon joined the Real Estate Club, the Multicultural Student Union, the Hispanic and Latinx Student Association, and the Barbershop Club, and worked as a tutor, peer mentor, and admissions ambassador. These transformative experiences led Dixon to Bangkok where he is serving in the Peace Corps.

After completing his service, Dixon plans to attend Yale Law School, where he has already been accepted.

“You need a support system when you're in college, and that's what I found here. Professors, mentors, friends – there was always someone willing to help.”

"[RWU faculty] are role models for me, for what I want to be. They're very compassionate, amazing at teaching and can convey complex material to students in a digestible way."
