Global perspective
MORE THAN 40% OF OUR STUDENTS STUDY ABROAD
Our world continues to be inter-connected, and understanding global and intercultural perspectives is critical.
At RWU you will have plenty of options to enrich your college experience, including the opportunity to study abroad in more than 27 countries across six continents. We’re proud to offer a number of diverse programs in different formats to fit the needs and wants of our student body.
Study with partner universities, or participate in field-based experiential programs through semesterlong, for-credit options. Join faculty who lead programs across the globe for two-to-four-week contained programs in the winter and summer. These short-term programs provide a culturally rich experience, all while earning credit. Or, participate in a flagship program tied directly to your academic department – study architecture in Barcelona or Florence, learn about performing arts in London, scuba dive and examine coral reefs in Bermuda, explore construction management in England, or serve in medical relief or public health work in the Dominican Republic.
Many of these programs allow students to apply their scholarships and aid – making the cost the same or similar to studying on campus. And we offer several academic and need-based study abroad scholarships to make these culturally immersive experiences possible.
Enhance your RWU experience by participating in one of these transformative programs.
