Hit the road for a scenic adventure or choose one of Myrtle Beach International Airport’s flights arriving from more than 50 nonstop destinations.

Mild temperatures, gentle ocean breezes and an average of 215 sunny days per year make The Beach an ideal vacation destination any time of year.

TRANSPORTATION AT The Beach

When bringing a group to The Beach, transportation is an important part of your experience. We know that in order to enjoy everything our 60 miles of beach and 14 unique communities have to offer, your group needs to be able to easily get to our area and have a reliable way to get around the Grand Strand once you’re here.

The 28-mile-long Veterans Highway (S.C. 22) offers an additional route from U.S. 501 to S.C. 17. Carolina Bays Parkway, also known as S.C. 31, is popular with locals and extends from S.C. 9 to U.S. 501 and S.C. 707. There are future plans to extend Carolina Bays Parkway even further south.
