Enjoy donuts, beer flights, board games and ice skating on a Saturday night! Each paid participant’s wristband includes skating at the Devon Ice Rink and admission into our Park House Event Center for three 6 oz. beer samples that are paired with donuts, and board games to play with friends. Additional beverages can be purchased on-site.

Take part in the magical and therapeutic art form known as Ebru. This ancient practice teaches patience, balance and harmony. All materials are organic. In Ebru, each painting is as unique as the human creating it. Disposable aprons will be provided.
Celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a morning of music, crafts, and readings. Help unite OKC by placing a string on our “woven together” art display, or take a learning walk through the Garden Classroom highlighting quotes and important events in the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. At 11:30 a.m. join us for a reading of Dr. King’s famous I Have a Dream Speech, followed by a performance from a Gospel Choir.
Kids will start with a scavenger hunt to find coconuts, star fruit, bananas and other tropical foods. Then we’ll finish by learning how to create some healthy, tasty and easy breakfast treats.

Bring your youngster for story time. Books are nature-themed and selected based on the season. We’ll begin with an interactive song and children will enjoy creating a small craft after the story. The last Wednesday of the month join the Downtown Library. For groups of 10 or more please call Kodi Clifford at (405) 835-6789.

FAMILY WORKSHOP: GARDEN POTPOURRI
The Gardens will supply some staple ingredients from the kitchen and creativity will be encouraged as we embark on a nature walk to collect some extra materials to use for our very own garden potpourri mixtures! Each participant will bring home two half-pint jars full of their creative concoctions.
