The Devon Lawn will be transformed into an urban campground for families. Learn camping basics, enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, and spend the evening enjoying the great outdoors. Once the sun sets, we will have an outdoor movie showing of Disney’s Jungle Book, s’more making and ghost stories. Reservations include breakfast. Don’t have a tent? Bring your bike and meet up at the Bandshell stage on the Devon Lawn for a leisurely hour’s ride through downtown. The Full Moon Bike Ride and Run is a casual monthly event where friends and families can enjoy a leisure one-hour bike ride or 5K run through downtown OKC as the sun sets. No pre-registration is necessary to attend Full Moon events. Walk-ups are welcome. Bike helmets and bike lights are required. PRESENTED BY

Find out the answers to these and more as we take a look inside a seed and learn more about its anatomy! Create a bug craft, check out the OSU Insect Adventure and Acari Safariand to learn about other beneficial bugs for your garden. Admission includes one container of ladybugs.

Hummingbirds are a lovely sight to see in our summer gardens! In this class, participants will learn about the types of hummingbirds found in Oklahoma and discover how they can be attracted to our yards. Pests can be one of the most frustrating challenges when growing your own food. Join Dale and Carrie Spoonemore, creators of the From Seed to Spoon app, as they explain how to easily identify and manage the most common garden pests without the use of chemical pesticides.

Edible Soil Geology
Learn about the layers of dirt, rock, plants and creatures below your garden as we create our own mini edible landscape. We’ll build each layer as we discuss them and then finish by eating our tasty treat. Edible gardens will include ingredients such as cookie bedrock, green licorice grass, gummy worms and more.
