Hi my name is Jacqueline Lopez. I’m your new covergirl 2019, I’m 15 years old and currently a sophomore in high school. I like to draw and design dresses, dreaming of the day I could make them myself and model them. Since I was small I loved modeling, I would put on big puffy dresses and tiaras hoping one day to become a cover girl. My dream came true, thanks to god and all of you guys. First of I want to give thanks to my princess magazine for giving me the opportunity for running to be the next cover girl. Which could just be the beginning of my future as an actress or

model. My princess has already given me a head start, also I want to give thanks to my family and friends from California to Mexico for helping me accomplish one of my biggest goals. My biggest thanks goes to my mom I love you for believing in me and being there for me 24/7. The experience that I had of being the covergirl has just been wonderful and exciting. During my first day of the photo-shoot, I got to make new friends, also the photo shoot for the cover was so much fun we were all laughing and making jokes behind the camera. It was amazing to see the whole crew working
Hola mi nombre es Jacqueline López. Soy tu nueva covergirl 2019, tengo 15 años y actualmente soy una estudiante cursando el segundo año de nivel medio superior. Me gusta dibujar y diseñar vestidos, sueño con el día en que podría hacerlos yo misma y modelarlos. Desde pequeña me encantaba modelar, me puse grandes vestidos y tiaras con la esperanza de que algún día me convirtiera en la covergirl. Mi sueño se hizo realidad, gracias a Dios y a todos ustedes. Primero quiero dar las gracias a la revista My Princess Magazine por darme la oportunidad de concursar para ser la próxima covergirl. Lo que podría ser el comienzo de mi futuro como actriz o modelo. My princess ya me ha dado una ventaja, también quiero agradecer a mi familia y amigos de California y México por ayudarme a lograr uno de mis mayores objetivos, mi mayor agradecimiento es para mi madre, te amo por creer en mí y estar ahí las 24 horas del dia. La experiencia que tuve de ser la covergirl ha sido maravillosa y emocionante. Durante mi primer día de sesión de fotos, hice nuevos amigos, también la sesión de fotos para la portada fue muy divertida, todos estábamos riendo y haciendo bromas detrás de la cámara. Fue increíble ver a todo el equipo trabajando para hacer que ésto sucediera, estaban ahí para satisfacer todas mis necesidades, me dieron mi equipo personal de maquillaje y peluquería para mantenerme hermosa, me trataron como a una verdadera princesa, fue un sueño hecho realidad. Cuando hice mi video que puedes encontrar en Jackie.j.lopez Instagram, realmente aumentó mi confianza y me ayudó a creer en mí misma, lo que también me inspiró a hacer mi propio canal de YouTube. Ahora, como covergirl, quiero ayudar a inspirar a la gente, todo es posible trabajando para lograrlo, aumentar su confianza y hacerles saber que es posible ser la próxima covergirl y hacer realidad sus sueños.

At your party, you need to be prepared for anything, and it’s completely normal for your parents to want you to talk in front of your guest. Whether its to show your appreciation, to say hello, or to simply express your emotions. We know that the idea of talking in front of a crowd, with all of those eyes on you and your words can be daunting. You simply have to remember, that its not the end of the world and here we will give you the best advice to keep you from freezing up and embarrassing yourself.

No hay nada peor que dar la impresión de que te obligan a hablar, aunque no sea lo tuyo trata de expresar un agradecimiento sincero y no lucir acartonada, sonríe, nada expresa más la emoción del momento que una sonrisa. 2. Relájate. Los nervios pueden ser muy traicioneros y pueden paralizarte, imagina que es algo tan normal como platicar con tus amigos y familia. Ve al baño antes, respira y procura que no sea cuando tú estés comiendo. 3. Se relevante. Si bien la idea central es agradecer a tus invitados, puedes agregarle a tu discurso algunas palabras de tu sentir y de cómo esta fecha tan importante representa un significado especial en tu vida, pero ojo no lo hagas muy tedioso o te avientes todo un choro, busca que sea muy interesante.

Be natural, there is nothing worse than giving the impression that you are being forced to talk, even if this isn’t your forte, try to express your appreciation in a sincere and un robotic way; smile. Nothing else shows your emotions for a moment better than a smile. 2. Relax, nerves tend to betray you and that can paralyze you. Imagine that this is as easy as talking to your friends and family. Use the bathroom prior to, breathe and make sure its not when you are eating. 3. Be relevant. If the main idea is to thank your guests, you can add to your speech some words of your liking and how this date is important and that it represents something special in your life. Keep and eye on how much you layer it, aim to make it interesting. 16
4. Escríbelo. Si, puedes memorizarlo o simplemente léelo en plena fiesta pero recuerda que todas las miradas estarán sobre ti así que no obstruyas tu cara con alguna carpeta grande o llamativa, trata de que no sea súper extenso porque puedes aburrir. 5. Practica. Para mostrarte más segura de ti misma y adquirir confianza puedes practicar lo que dirás frente al espejo o frente a un grupo pequeño de amigos, de esta forma cuando te toque hablar te sentirás más cómoda y tranquila. 6. Visualízalo. Es importante que antes de empezar recorras con la vista todo el salón, para que identifiques bien dónde están todas las personas a las que mencionarás en tu discurso para que puedas dirigirte a ellas, también observa si hay alguno obstáculo, escalón u objeto que pueda distraerte o te estorbe en caso de que te quieras mover.

This way when it’s time to talk you will feel calmer and more comfortable. 6. Vizualize. Before starting its important to remember to quickly scan your eyes around the room to identify where everyone you will be mentioning is sitting; so that you are able to direct your speech to them. Also look for any obstacles, steps or objects that might hinder you if you so choose to move.

Si de plano lo tuyo lo tuyo no es hablar, no te preocupes puedes optar por un discurso corto y conciso, recuerda lo básico, agradecer a los invitados y a las personas que lograron que tu fiesta se llevara a cabo, sólo inténtalo, verás que no es tan grave. 10. Disfrútalo. Será un momento breve, no te agobies si te equivocas en alguna palabra o si de repente se te olvidan las ideas, respira profundo y deja que el momento fluya, se espontánea y directa recuerda, son tus invitados y todos agradecerán tu esfuerzo.

7. Be original. A bold and different way that can help you if you tend to be selfconscious in front of people, is to make a video prior to- so that it can be projected at the party. You can record the party preparations and talk while doing an activity, that way you won’t be embarrassed. 8. Have fun. There is nothing better that giving a fun speech, dress it up with anecdotes, small stories, word games, or another comic spin to break the ice and make your guest smile. 9. Try it out, if in reality talking in front of others is a total no go, then don’t worry about it. You can opt for a small and direct speech, remember the basics, thank your guest and the people who helped make your party possible; just try, and you’ll see it’s not that bad. 10. Enjoy it. Its a brief moment, don’t fret over your mistakes while talking or forgetting your ideas. Take a deep breath and let the moment flow. Be spontaneous and direct and remember that they are your guests and everyone appreciates your effort.

Los zapatos o zapatillas que decidas usar darán esa sensación de que pensaste en cada detalle, además de aportar el toque final a tu oufit. Elige un tamaño de tacón que sea soportable para ti, piensa en que bailarás, caminarás y estarás de un lado a otro, olvídate de algo muy elevado que no domines pues puedes caerte y hacer el oso mundial en tu fiesta. Puedes optar por dos pares, uno con un tacón bajo para la fiesta y uno con tacón alto solo para el baile lento que se hace con el padre y los invitados. 2. Aunque por lo regular no se ven debido al largo de tu vestido, elige detalles que los hagan llamativos es decir un color que contraste con el vestido o por el contrario que hagan un match perfecto es decir del mismo tono, puedes elegirlos con brillos eso es muy chic y femenino.

Puedes elegir de piso o con un poco de tacón, estas darán un look inesperado pero atrevido, asegúrate de que vayan bien con tu vestido es decir que los colores combinen. 2.
