No morir en el intento Durante tu fiesta debes estar preparada para cualquier situación y es muy normal que tus padres quieran que tú como la festejada, hables frente a tus invitados, así que ya sea para agradecer, saludar o simplemente expresar tu sentir. Sabemos que la idea de hablar frente a un público y que todas las personas estén pendientes de cada palabra que sale de tu boca, puede llegar a ser aterradora, debes de saber que no es el fin del mundo y aquí te daremos los mejores tips para que no quedes congelada y hagas el oso.

Whether its to show your appreciation, to say hello, or to simply express your emotions. We know that the idea of talking in front of a crowd, with all of thosevs on you and your words can be daunting. You simply have to remember, that its not the end of the world and here we will give you the best advice to keep you from freezing up and embarrassing yourself.

No hay nada peor que dar la impresión de que te obligan a hablar, aunque no sea lo tuyo trata de expresar un agradecimiento sincero y no lucir acartonada, sonríe, nada expresa más la emoción del momento que una sonrisa. 2. Relájate. Los nervios pueden ser muy traicioneros y pueden paralizarte, imagina que es algo tan normal como platicar con tus amigos y familia. Ve al baño antes, respira y procura que no sea cuando tú estés comiendo. 3. Se relevante. Si bien la idea central es agradecer a tus invitados, puedes agregarle a tu discurso algunas palabras de tu sentir y de cómo esta fecha tan importante representa un significado especial en tu vida, pero ojo no lo hagas muy tedioso o te avientes todo un choro, busca que sea muy interesante.

Escríbelo. Si, puedes memorizarlo o simplemente léelo en plena fiesta pero recuerda que todas las miradas estarán sobre ti así que no obstruyas tu cara con alguna carpeta grande o llamativa, trata de que no sea súper extenso porque puedes aburrir. 5. Practica. Para mostrarte más segura de ti misma y adquirir confianza puedes practicar lo que dirás frente al espejo o frente a un grupo pequeño de amigos, de esta forma cuando te toque hablar te sentirás más cómoda y tranquila. 6. Visualízalo. Es importante que antes de empezar recorras con la vista todo el salón, para que identifiques bien dónde están todas las personas a las que mencionarás en tu discurso para que puedas dirigirte a ellas, también observa si hay alguno obstáculo, escalón u objeto que pueda distraerte o te estorbe en caso de que te quieras mover.

This way when it’s time to talk you will feel calmer and more comfortable. 6. Vizualize. Before starting its important to remember to quickly scan your eyes around the room to identify where everyone you will be mentioning is sitting; so that you are able to direct your speech to them. Also look for any obstacles, steps or objects that might hinder you if you so choose to move.

7. Se original. Una forma diferente y atrevida que además te puede ayudar si eres muy cohibida a la hora de hablar frente a las personas, es hacer un video previo que se proyecte durante la fiesta, puedes grabar los preparativos y hablar mientras haces alguna actividad, así no sentirás tanta vergüenza. 8. Diviértete. No hay nada mejor que un speech divertido, aderézalo con anécdotas, chascarrillos, juegos de palabras o algún toque cómico para romper el hielo y sacar las sonrisas de los invitados. 9. Inténtalo. Si de plano lo tuyo lo tuyo no es hablar, no te preocupes puedes optar por un discurso corto y conciso, recuerda lo básico, agradecer a los invitados y a las personas que lograron que tu fiesta se llevara a cabo, sólo inténtalo, verás que no es tan grave. 10. Disfrútalo. Será un momento breve, no te agobies si te equivocas en alguna palabra o si de repente se te olvidan las ideas, respira profundo y deja que el momento fluya, se espontánea y directa recuerda, son tus invitados y todos agradecerán tu esfuerzo.

You can record the party preparations and talk while doing an activity, that way you won’t be embarrassed. 8. Have fun. Try it out, if in reality talking in front of others is a total no go, then don’t worry about it. You can opt for a small and direct speech, remember the basics, thank your guest and the people who helped make your party possible; just try, and you’ll see it’s not that bad. 10. Enjoy it. Its a brief moment, don’t fret over your mistakes while talking or forgetting your ideas. Take a deep breath and let the moment flow. Be spontaneous and direct and remember that they are your guests and everyone appreciates your effort.

Hello my name is Ana Ginelly Amador and thanks to Quinceanera Show, I have the amazing opportunity to be your very first Cover Girl for this year’s brand new 2020 magazine. I would like to share with future contestants and future quinceañeras my journey into becoming your 2020 Cover Girl. Ever since I was a child I always loved to put on big poofy dresses, throw on a crown and pretend I was a princess in real life. I always pictured myself modeling down a runway showcasing different styles and cultures of dresses. It took me a long time to take the first step towards my vision because of the fear I had when it came to public speaking and the thought of finding comfort on a runway. I knew that if I really

wanted to make my dream come true I had to take a chance and face my fears. Facing my fears was difficult because of the lack of hope I had in myself. If I don’t believe in myself, how do I expect others to believe in me? With time I learned that having faith and a good self-esteem played a big role into achieving my dream. My experience in the world of pageants and competitions taught me many things.They taught me to move on, learn from my mistakes and never give up on myself. It wasn’t always easy considering the fact that every loss taught me something different. After several attempts I am fortunate enough to be in a position where I can finally say I have made one of my biggest dreams come

Hola mi nombre es Ana Ginelly Amador y gracias a Quinceañera Show, tengo la maravillosa oportunidad de ser su primera Cover Girl para la revista del año 2020. Algo que me gustaría compartir con las futuras concursantes y futuras quinceañeras es un poco de mi historia y como llegue a ser su portada. Desde que era una niña siempre me encantaba disfrazarme de princesa, ponerme zapatillas y pretender que era una princesa en la vida real. Siempre me imagine modelando en pasarelas, diferentes estilos y culturas de vestidos. Dure mucho tiempo en dar el primer paso por el miedo que me daba hablar en público y lo difícil que pensé que era modelar enfrente de extraños. Pensé que si en realidad quería hacer mi sueño una realidad tenia que arriesgarme y enfrentar a mis miedos. No fue nada fácil ya que no siempre tuve el resultado que yo deseaba. Enfrentar a mis miedos fue difícil por la falta de esperanza que tenía en mi misma. Si yo no creo en mi misma como espero que los demás crean en mi? Con tiempo fui aprendiendo que tener un buen autoestima y fe en mí misma era esencial para seguir el camino hacia mi sueño. Mis experiencias en el mundo de concursos y competencias me han enseñado muchas cosas. Algo que he aprendido de las competencias es seguir adelante, aprender de mis errores y no darme por vencida para realizar todas mis metas. Después de varios concursos estoy afortunada de estar en una posición en la que finalmente puedo decir he realizado uno de mis sueños más grandes. El camino hacia mi sueño me abrió muchas puertas para poder expresarme y hacer lo que me gusta más en todo el mundo. A pesar de ser modelo me gusta explorar y adquirir nuevas cosas. Me encanta encontrar nuevos pasatiempos que muchas veces consisten de artes y manualidades, maquillaje, peinados, pasteles, baile, o invertir tiempo en aprender sobre casos de crimen verdadero. Creo que es importante que tomemos tiempo de nuestro día para ver si hay algo que podamos hacer para ayudar a lo comunidad o ayudar a alguien que necesita de nuestra ayuda. Nunca duele ser una persona amable y no es difícil difundir el amor que este mundo necesita. Me gusta tomar descansos de las redes sociales y salir con mis amigos/ true. Throughout my journey I was able to find myself opening many doors through which I could express myself and use my voice to spread positivity while still being able to do what I love the most. Despite being a model I like to explore and learn new things. I love finding new hobbies and taking breaks from social media to go spend time with family and friends.The sky, moon, clouds and stars fascinate me, I like to sit outside of my house and stare at the sky while taking pictures of the sunset. My favorite way to spend free time is by doing arts and crafts, improving my hair and makeup skills, baking, dancing, and even researching true crime cases. I think it is important that we take time out of

El cielo la luna las nubes y las estrellas me fascinan, cuando tengo tiempo me gusta sentarme afuera de mi casa y tomarle fotos al cielo. Soy una orgullosa seguidora de 99.7 Now. También soy una admiradora de conciertos, me encanta la idea de estar en un lugar viendo a mi artista favorito y estar rodeada de desconocidos que conocen la letra de todas mis canciones favoritas. La energía que llena el lugar es algo que no puedo encontrar en ningún otro lado especialmente cuando es 5 Seconds Of Summer en el escenario. Suficiente sobre mí quiero agradecer desde el fondo de mi corazón a las personas que contribuyeron en hacer mi sueño una realidad. Antes de todo quiero agradecerle a los coordinadores de Quinceanera Show, Jose y Mary por darme la oportunidad de hacer mi sueño una realidad y por creer en mí. Antes de ser su portada había participado en la búsqueda de ser la portada de la revista anterior bajo el nombre My Princess Magazine, quedando en segundo lugar. A pesar de no ganar la portada, José y Mary me dieron la oportunidad de participar en la revista y ser parte de la expo. Quiero darle las gracias a mi familia por estar siempre a mi lado, ellos nunca dejaron de enseñarme lo orgullosos que estaban de mi a pesar de que no siempre salí ganando. A mis tías que siempre me acompañan a mis eventos y por estar ahí en cada paso hacia mi sueño ellos estuvieron presentes y por eso los amo y los aprecio bien mucho. A mis amigos que nunca dejan de sorprenderme, el apoyo que muestran hacia mis sueño es algo extraordinario, siempre me ayudan cuando lo necesito y siempre están ahí para ayudarme. A mi mami y papi, principalmente me gustaría darle las gracias a mi mami que sin ella no sería su portada y no estarían leyendo esto. Mi mami es una mujer maravillosa, Nosotros vivimos en Castro Valley Ca, y todos los eventos son en San Jose Ca. Ella hace tiempo para llevarme a mis eventos, se queda conmigo cada vez y nunca exige perfección de me. Mi mami a sacrificado muchas cosas por hacer mi sueño una realidad no se como lo hace para lidiar conmigo pero la amo y aprecio todo lo que hace por mi. Estoy muy afortunada de tener Ana como mi madre el amor que tiene una madre para su hijo/hija es fuerte y mi mami nunca falla en demostrarnos lo mucho que nos quiere. Gracias Mami por ser mi número uno y por hacer mi sueño una realidad. No hay suficientes palabras en el diccionario para poder expresar lo afortunada que estoy por tener esta oportunidad, estoy lista para poder tomar la responsabilidad que implica ser tu siguiente covergirl! our day to see if there is anything we can do to help our community or help someone in need. It never hurts to be a kind person and it never hurts to spread kindness. I am a proud supporter of 99.7 Now. A loyal member of the Hypesquad and a concert enthusiast. I love the idea of being in an arena watching my favorite artist perform while being surrounded by complete strangers who know all the lyrics to my favorite songs. The energy that fills the area is something special I can’t find anywhere else especially when it’s 5 Seconds Of Summer on the stage. Enough about me, I want to thank from the bottom of my heart the people who played a big role into making my dream become a reality. First of all I want to thank the coordinators of Quinceanera Show, José and Mary for giving me the opportunity to represent them and for believing in me. Before being the Cover Girl of Quinceanera Show I had participated in the search to find the face of the previous magazine, My Princess Magazine. Despite not winning the cover, José and Mary gave me the opportunity to not only appear in the magazine but to participate in the expo and many of their events. I would like to thank my family for being my rock and always being by my side. They never fail to show me how proud they are of me even if I don’t come home with a prize they always make me feel as if I won. To my madrinas who were present every single step of the way, they always accompanied me to my events and helped me when I needed it and for that I am very grateful. To my friends who never fail to amaze me, the support they show towards my dream is something unbelievable and I am grateful for each and every one of them. I would like to thank my mom and my dad for encouraging me to pursue my dream but most importantly I would like to thank my mom. Without her help I wouldn’t have been able to accomplish my dream, she is a wonderful woman who sacrificed many things to make my dream come true. We live in Castro Valley Ca, and all events are in San Jose Ca. She makes time to take me to my events and stays with me at each and every one of them. She never demands perfection from me and is my number one supporter.I don’t know how she manages to put up with me but I love her and I appreciate everything she does for me. I am very fortunate to have her as my mom, the love a mother has for her son / daughter is strong and my mom never fails to show us how much she loves us. Thanks mom for being my number one fan and for making my dream come true. There aren’t enough words in the world to express how lucky I am to be in this position. ¿Qué te parece unas pantallas gigantes que proyecten partes específicas de la película? Suena bastante bien ¿no lo crees? Esta puede ser una gran opción y además puede ser un poco más económica ya que no necesita de una gran inversión y aun así le da un toque muy original a la fiesta.

Theater

If what you want is to give a show that nobody expects, why not hire a theater company that will bring life to the characters in Beauty and the Beast. Zapatillas

Son por mucho las favoritas de las jovencitas, y es que estas representan ese cambio de niña a mujer, suelen ser de tacón alto o de pende de la festejada y suelen ser de un color simple que haga juego con el vestido. Digamos esa es la tradición sin embargo en la actualidad hay un sinfín de modelos de zapatillas que te harán soñar. Nuestras recomendaciones son: 1.- Elige un tamaño de tacón que sea soportable para ti, piensa en que bailarás, caminarás y estarás de un lado a otro, olvídate de algo muy elevado que no domines pues puedes caerte y hacer el oso mundial en tu fiesta. Puedes optar por dos pares, uno con un tacón bajo para la fiesta y uno con tacón alto solo para el baile lento que se hace con el padre y los invitados. 2.- Aunque por lo regular no se ven debido al largo de tu vestido, elige detalles que los hagan llamativos es decir un color que contraste con el vestido o por el contrario que hagan un match perfecto es decir del mismo tono, puedes elegirlos con brillos eso es muy chic y femenino.

Heels

They are by far a favorite amongst young girls, and it is because they represent the change from girl to woman. They are usually high heels depending on the birthday girl and are usually a simple color that matches the dress. Let us just say that is the tradition. However, today there are endless amounts of styles that will make you dream. Our recommendations are: 1.- Choose a heel size that is tolerable. You have to take into consideration that you will be dancing and will be walking back and forth in them. Forget about wearing super high heels that you have not yet mastered because you can fall and cause an embarrassing scene at your party. You can opt for two pairs, one with a low heel for the party and one with a high heel for the slow dance, which is done with the father and the guests. 2.- Although you usually cannot see them due to the length of your dress, choose heels that will catch everyone’s attention. Choose a color that contrasts your dress, or perfectly match your heels to your dress. You can even choose chic and feminine accents like rhinestones and glitter.

Plataformas

Aunque no lo creas existen unos modelos bellísimos de plataformas elegantes, puedes optar por tonos blancos o pasteles (depende de tu vestido) con detalles de encajes o flores, son una buena opción pues no son tan complicadas o cansadas como los tacones. Nuestras recomendaciones son: 1.- Antes de tu fiesta úsalas para que agarres confianza y puedas dominarlas, no son zapatos fáciles y en cualquier momento se te puede torcer el pie así que úsalas. 2.- Si las tienes en mente checa bien la altura de las mismas para que a la hora de comprar o diseñar tu vestido no se ves que queda corto.

Platforms

Believe it or not, there are many beautiful and elegant styles of platforms. You can choose white or pastel shades (depending on your dress) with lace and flower details; these are good options because they are not as complicated or as tiring as heels. Our recommendations are: 1.- Practice wearing your heels before your party so you gain confidence and master the art of walking in heels. They are not easy shoes to wear and it is possible that you can twist an ankle at any time, so practice is important. 2.- If you have a style of shoe in mind, check their height so that when you buy or design your dress it does not fall short.

Botas y botines

Aunque no son precisamente lo ideal, son bastante flexibles para combinar con vestido, falda, short o pantalón así que sea cual sea tu vestuario, te vendrán bastante bien además si a ti te gustan las botas será una forma de imprimirle tu estilo al momento. Nuestras recomendaciones son: 1.- Puedes elegir de piso o con un poco de tacón, estas darán un look inesperado pero atrevido, asegúrate de que vayan bien con tu vestido es decir que los colores combinen. 2.- Las botas dan ese toque bohemio al estilo puede complementarlo con alguna tejana o porque no una torerita, crea tu propio estilo, lo ideal es que tú te sientas cómoda, así que no temas expresarte y serle fiel a tus gustos.

Tenis

Así como lo lees, las tradiciones van cambiando y la comodidad es muy importante además de que actualmente ya es muy común que las quinceañeras opten por tenis simplemente porque se ven muy bien con los vestidos. Nuestras recomendaciones son: 1.- Usa un par muy llamativo, puedes jugar con cintas de colores, brillos, y todo lo que contraste con tu vestido. Los tenis además de cómodos que además van muy bien con vestidos un poco más cortos. 2.- Es un estilo muy fresco, juvenil, femenino y sobre todo muy divertido así que no te preocupes por el que dirán, lucirás increíble. Con la temática de la Bella y la Bestia cualquier opción que elijas se puede adaptar muy bien ya que en los cuentos de princesas todo puede pasar y todo se puede convertir en algo mágico e increíble, solo se trata de darle tu propio estilo. Opta por colores amarillos o azules que hagan contraste con el vestido y el de tu pareja de baile.

Boots and booties

Yes that is right! Traditions are changing and comfort is very important. It is now very common for quinceañeras to wear sneakers simply because they look great with dresses. Our recommendations are: 1.- Use a flashy pair of sneakers. You can play around with colorful laces, glitter, and anything that contrasts well with your dress. Not only are sneakers the more comfortable option, they also go very well with shorter dresses. 2.- Sneakers can add a very fresh, youthful, and feminine style and above all are very fun. Do not worry about what people may think or say because you will look amazing. You can choose any pair of shoes with the theme of Beauty and the Beast. The option you choose can be adapted very well because in princess fairy tales anything can happen and anything can become magical and incredible. It is just about adding your own style. Pick yellow or blue colors that contrast your dress and compliments your dance partner’s outfit.
