The Many Faces of You
Somehow, I am a very blessed person. I am close with most of my family members and I have wonderful friends. The most important blessing I have is my two wonderful boys. They bring joy beyond measure to my life.

One of my sons has a very expressive face. It is easy to tell what he is feeling, since it is written all over his face (really). I have wanted to create a "Many Faces of You" album for him. In fact, it's one of the first projects I thought of when I saw the Fine and Dandy - True Blue collection. (See project details on page 2) I love the vibrant colors and fabulous patterns of the Fine and Dandy collection. Whether it's the pinks, blues, reds, greens, browns, and white in Tickled Pink OR the blues, yellows, browns and white of True Blue, you are sure to find the perfect combination for any project!

Also used: brown & blue Lush chipboard letters, brown ink pad, brown pen, ½" circle punch, 3" circle punch, glue dots and tape runner.
Instructions:
1. Mat photos on 3 ¼" x 4 ¼" Merry paper (blue). 2. Cut eleven ½" x 3" strips of Fabulous paper (ledger side). Cut tips to make banner shape. Cover Page: 1. Using ½" circle punch, punch out five star circles from Shining Paper. 2. Add "faces" stickers to center of circles and outline with brown pen. 3. Form banner from stickers and add trims. 4. Write "the many" on ledger paper strip, trim width to fit, outline with pen and add to cover with button using a glue dot. 5. Add "of you" with Lush chipboard letters Pages 2 & 3: 1. On left page, add photo with 4 ¼" of yellow pom pom trim on the right side. 2. Mount "adore" chipboard banner pieces to back side of Merry paper (blue side) and cut slightly larger. Adhere in a straight line to right page. 3. Trim off "handsome" border to match the width of the adore banner pieces and adhere to top. 4. Trim brown rick rack in half and adhere just above "handsome" chipboard piece. 5. Add cloud sticker and descriptive word banner as shown. Pages 4 & 5: 1. Punch two 3" circles from Snappy (orange) paper. Save one for later.

Pages 4 & 5 cont: 2. Trim three 1" x 12" and one 1 3/8" x 12" strip of Snazzy paper. 3. Ink edges and glue the stripes centered on top of the brown paper. Cut one strip into two pieces: 5" and 7". Set aside the other two strips. 4. Trim right side of 7" piece to look like a banner. 5. Adhere 5" strip to left page and 7" piece to the right page with orange circle under right side. 6. Adhere 4 ½" piece of rick rack to left side of photo and adhere to page as shown. 7. Add other pieces as shown. 8. Mount photo to left page. 9. Add chipboard swirl, word strip and two scallops from yellow scallop rhinestone strip. Pages 6 & 7: 1. Cut out banner strips from remaining Merry paper and add to left page. 2. Add photo with rick rack and loopy chipboard border as shown. 3. Add word strip. 4. On right page, add photo with layered sticker, descriptive strip and left over yellow scallop rhinestones. 5. Punch holes in "happy" chipboard banner pieces and star circles. String with twine to make banner. Pages 8 & 9: 1. Trim the following from Snazzy paper: 2" x 7 ¾", 2 ½" x 7 ¾", 2" x 8 ½" and 2 ½" x 8 ½" 2. Adhere in the center of both pages (trim along banner side on right page). 3. Add photos to both pages. 4. Add loopy border, word strips and other embellishments to left page as shown. 5. Adhere banner strip (12 triangles) curved along bottom of photos. 6. Add word strips and chipboard star. Pages 10 & 11: 1. Adhere strips (set aside from pages 4 & 5) and orange circle (set aside from pages 2 & 3). 2. Add star circles along left side of photo for left page. Cut in and out of circles to make scallops. 3. Add word strip, "dream" chipboard piece, sun chipboard piece and "cute" dimensional stickers. Stamp swirl as shown. 4. On right page, add photo to right side of page. 5. Add "one in a million" chipboard piece, star dimensional sticker, ½ rick rack trim, blue scallop rhinestone border and "you mean the world to me" dimensional sticker. 6. Add blue rhinestones to scallops on far right. ENJOY!

Helpful Hints: I love the look of Printer Trays but often find the cost of one a little more than I want to pay. Especially when I want to paint it a different colour. Personally I like the depth of this tray (2") as it makes it freestanding and stackable. The size inside the tray is about 18" x 7". I played around with photo placement and other areas. The dowel was easy to cut with a knife. I sanded the ends for a tight fit. Once you have the placement worked out, paint everything the colour desired - I am working on one of these in lime green crackle paint and another in fuchsia pink glitter! Wait for the paint to dry. This shouldn't take more than a few minutes. Cut your papers to size and adhere. Add your elements as you want so that it looks happy. Display & Enjoy My Mind's Eye November 2010 Newsletter * Page 5

Supplies: Tickled Pink "Engaging Paper" - Cut in half horizontally (use bottom half for this card) Tickled Pink "Cheerful" Paper - 2" x 6" & 2" x 2" Tickled Pink "Cheery" Paper - 1" x 5 ½" and 7/8" x 1 7/8" Tickled Pink Chipboard Tickled Pink Bling Tickled Pink Layered Stickers Also used: Glue Dots, Stoneware Bowl
Instructions: 1. Score and fold 6"X12" Engaging Paper in half to form a card base. 2. Score Cheerful Paper 1/2" from left edge (lengthwise), secure around fold. 3. Apply pink scalloped chipboard along edge of Cheerful paper. 4. Attach birdie chipboard border to Cheery strip. Use pop dots to secure horizontally 1/4" from bottom and right edges. 5. Attach Pink chipboard scalloped frame so it frames the pink birdie on the patterned paper background. 6. Use pop dots to secure large chipboard die cut blue bird as shown. 7. Mat "You are my Sunshine" chipboard with the Cheerful and Cheery squares of paper. Mount over lower right corner of frame so it overlaps the border too. 8. Build flower clusters using die cut chipboard elements and the layered stickers. 9. Embellish flowers using Fine and Dandy Bling. 10.Enjoy the lucky recipients smile as they open your card.
