WELCOME BACK!

We’ve been enjoying our travels over the summer. Now, we are just getting back into our usual routines!

Most recently, we went to Disney with our perfect family of three... well, four including our dog, and we had a blast! Prioritizing travel even as our family grows will always be a goal of mine.

My daughter and I will be flying across the country this October, just the two of us, and I’m anxiously anticipating how that will go! Once I conquer flying alone with a baby, I will come back and share the tips and tricks that I have learned with you.

As we get back to our normal routines, I have learned to maintain reaching certain goals in order to feel more accomplished through the busy work weeks. This type of mindset is what works for my family. For my boyfriend and I specifically, we aim to have one date night per week. It’s important for our relationship to get uninterrupted time to chat with one another and decompress together. I urge you to give friends or family members who you trust an opportunity to babysit while you and your significant other enjoy a couple of hours on a date night each week! If once per week isn’t attainable for your family, then try every other week until you find the right balance.
