By Gina Zuk
When it comes to the design and construction of your commercial project, nothing should be taken for granted. With over 30 years of providing impeccable architectural and general contracting services, RJG Professional Services takes a different approach than the status quo.
RJG Professional Services embraces change, but realizes the importance of innovation, professionalism, and building solid personal relationships within the community. Principal owner and Architect, Ronald J. Goodstein, along with his professional team, which includes his wife Ronnie and Managing Partner John Burgess, provide an all-inclusive commercial architectural and construction experience that has earned a reputation for excellence.
RJG Professional Services manages complete commercial construction, renovations, and storm damage repair projects from conception to completion. When planning a project, it is essential to select an Architect who not only has a proven track record, but also possesses 100% dedication to your building or remodeling plans. The team at RJG Professional Services understands that “peace of mind” is very important when undertaking construction and remodeling projects. For this reason, RJG Professional Services is always available to provide a business owner, restaurant owner, hospital, religious establishment, or condominium association with the proper guidance and support, no matter how big or small the undertaking. The experienced experts are with you every step of the way, beginning with a complimentary consultation and ending with a beautifully-designed and nished project.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & EXPERTISE
Ronald has a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the premier Pratt Institute in New York, as well as a Master of Science degree in City and Regional Planning. While residing in New York, Ronald had the opportunity to design and implement downtown developments, restaurants, and even a ritual bathhouse. He explains, “I was very fortunate to work for a very busy and diverse [architectural] rm when I started.”
Ronald is unique in that he is an expert in zoning, code analysis, and structural design. He can develop 3-dimensional designs for plumbing, roo ng, ooring, HVAC, mechanical structures, and even interior design planning. Ronnie explains, “When we submit plans to a building department, they are complete.” Indeed, the architectural plans from RJG are all completed by Ronald himself, and nothing is ever sent to an outside source.
Ronald’s education and experience have allowed him to continue his education and acquire over a dozen licenses and certi cations in Florida, Georgia, Texas, and North Carolina. Included in this extensive list of licenses is Ronald’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certi cation, which is the most widelyrecognized building sustainability credential for Architects, project developers, homeowners, and interior designers. Ronald explains, “Architectural and design certi cations are only available to people who have extensive experience in the eld.”
Beginning on the residential side, RJG evolved into a successful commercial and industrial rm. In 2004, Ronald and Ronnie relocated their family-owned business to South Florida. Today, they continue to offer their professional services to clients throughout the state of Florida who are in need of new construction or renovations with a commercial storm-related project. While working in the architectural sector of disaster relief projects in South Florida, Ronnie and Ronald teamed up with John Burgess.

John has a background in the insurance industry as a large loss adjuster for multiple insurance companies. With John as part of the RJG team, he will handle matters for business owners after any unfortunate storm-related occurrence, such as clean-up efforts, gathering evidence for claims, acquiring estimates, and communicating with insurance adjusters to help rebuild, restore, or upgrade a business establishment after a disaster.

From A Dream To A Reality
Ronald, Ronnie, and John are located in a 1,500 sq. ft. of ce space, where they invite their clients to meet with them for an initial complimentary consultation. The free consultation involves a project scope and sequence. “We like to meet with the client face to face, talk to them, and get an idea of what they envision,” says Ronnie.
Ronald likes to provide his clients with site planning details so that the client can begin planning for the nancial aspects of the project. Prior to construction, the team will consult with the client again to determine the project requirements and prepare schematic design studies. The main design requirements of the schematic design phase may include written project programs, the preparation of schematic design studies, and probable project costs. Once approval of these nal construction documents is given, RJG will assist the client in obtaining proposals from quali ed contractors. Ronald and the team at RJG will then evaluate these proposals and advise clients in the selection of their contractor. As the project gets underway, RJG Professional Services is your project manager, and will oversee every possible parameter until the nished product is completed, including construction management, construction scheduling, construction inspection, cost consulting, and equipment installations. For their clients, RJG will also review all submittals, requests for payment, and other administrative duties that are required for a successful project.
The small, but experienced and professional staff at RJG Professional Services takes complete ownership of their projects. When it comes to project management, Ronald and John oversee and manage all of the details and arrive at quick, creative solutions if any problems occur. “We are on the spot with resolutions of eld conditions. No time wasted,” assures Ronald.
Don’t compromise when it comes to the design and construction of your commercial dream!
