For the past 15 years, Roberto Figueroa has ensured that each and every produce item is throughly inspected before being sold at e Yankee Peddler. As the Delivery & Wholesale Manager at the market, Roberto oversees quality control, utilizing his 30+ years of experience in the produce industry to guide him in handpicking the perfect fruits and vegetables to put out on the shelves. “I tell everybody that if they want to talk about produce, then talk to me,” Roberto proudly states, continuing, “I’m the produce guy. I know produce like nobody else.”

Indeed, Roberto and his son/employee, Luis, are incredibly discerning because, as Roberto explains, “If [the produce] doesn’t look good to me, then it’s not good enough for my customers.” He adds, “My goal is to make the customers happy any way that I can.”
