Need More Coupons - MyLivingMagazine.com All You Need is Family… and Pizza!

All that Vinnie and Justine Prisco need is their family… and pizza from their restaurant, Three Guys Pizzeria!

A small, local Italian spot, Three Guys Pizzeria satisfi es the hunger of both St. Lucie County and Martin County residents by employing only the Priscos themselves. Husband & wife duo Vinnie and Justine Prisco are at the helm, while their three children — Kylie, Vincent, and Harper — assist with everything from manning the cash register to putting toppings on pizzas. Justine’s father, Jerry, fulfi lls all of the delivery orders and her mother, Kelly, preps food in the kitchen. The only nonfamily member employed at the restaurant is Kylie’s best friend, Brianna; but, Vinnie asserts that Brianna, too, is a member of the Prisco clan, saying “everybody here is family.”

The interior of Three Guys is small and intimate, more suited for quick counter service than for traditional dine-in services, so most people order their food for pickup or FREE delivery. Abby, our friend Trisha, and I chose to eat inside, however, and felt very comfortable and welcomed by the Prisco family, so the choice is completely yours.

We started with the special appetizer of the day — mac ‘n’ cheese bites ($5). When they arrived, we were amazed at the value we were receiving… the container was packed full of the freshly-fried bites! We expected to fi nish the entire portion, but despite having 3 diners, we still had leftovers because of its generous size! Ultimately, though, I’m thankful that there were more to take home because they became my midnight snack later. The non-greasy fried triangles were packed full of creamy, cheesy goodness that melded perfectly with the crispy outer breading. Absolutely delicious! The mac ‘n’ cheese bites are the pinnacle of comfort food, and we highly recommend them.

Because we chose a heavier starter, Abby selected the antipasto salad ($10) for her main course, along with a half order of garlic bread knots (6 for $3). Again, we were impressed by the portion sizes! The salad featured gigantic, thick rolls of high-quality pepperoni, Genoa salami, ham, and provolone cheese accompanied by bright, chopped tomatoes, sweet banana peppers, salty black olives, crisp white onion slices, and spicy pepperoncinis, all atop an abundant bed of lettuce. Abby hardly put a dent in the large, vibrant salad, but she thoroughly enjoyed it, commenting, “Every ingredient is perfectly fresh, so the whole thing not only feels good to eat, but also tastes delicious.”

The rolls, too, were quite big, plus smothered in melted butter, tasty parmesan cheese, and freshly-chopped garlic. They looked so good that Trisha and I essentially forced Abby to share! Like soft, fl uffy pillows, they offered complete comfort and delight. Though we couldn’t even fi nish the half portion, we wished we had ordered the full size with 12 rolls so we could take more home... they were addictively tasty.

Trisha wanted to try one of Three Guys’ most popular dishes, chicken parmesan ($14), which came with a side salad. The large, tender chicken breast was blanketed in rich mozzarella cheese, served alongside a generous portion of al dente spaghetti, and fi nished with a sprinkle of fresh basil. “Frankly,” Trisha declared, “I wish I lived closer to Jensen Beach so that I could get this meal more often. The chicken is moist, there’s lots of cheese, and I love the subtle sweetness of the sauce!”

I felt it necessary to sample the namesake of Three Guys, so I chose the Grandma Pizza ($16). Every pizza from Three Guys is handmade to order using dough that is made fresh daily. Additionally, the tomato sauce is made from scratch, and the restaurant exclusively uses high-quality Grande cheeses.

The Grandma specifi cally was a square pie with a thin, crispy crust, and included super fresh mozzarella cheese, chopped basil, and chunks of robust tomato. Natives of the Northeast will adore this pizza, or any of the others on the menu, because of the sauce, which has a tantalizing sweetness that, in the case of the Grandma pie, divinely complements the savory cheese and herbaceous basil. A sweeter red sauce is a staple of the Italian restaurants that I am used to enjoying at home in the tri-state area, so Three Guys’ pizza absolutely knocked it out of the park for me. If you are a transplant from the Northeast, like me, then I highly recommend that you try Three Guys Pizzeria... it will transport you back to the distinct fl avors of home.

Abby, Trisha, and I could not possibly leave Three Guys without having dessert, so we each got a cannoli ($2.95). Filled with the thick, decadent cream fresh on-site, the cannolis had a delightfully crunchy outer shell. Though our stomachs were practically bursting at the seams, all three of us gobbled up every last bite of the sweet treats… they were heavenly!

Honestly, Abby and I enjoyed our food from Three Guys so much that we took advantage of the restaurant’s FREE DELIVERY and ordered their food and pizza again over Memorial Day weekend! It was just as good as it was when we originally tried it for this review, so that tells us that the Prisco family knows what they’re doing. That fact really shouldn’t come as a surprise, though, as Vinnie affi rmed to us during our review, “We make everything just like we do at home because we are truly passionate about customers enjoying our food and seeing the effort and attention to detail that we put into everything we serve.”

Three Guys Pizzeria is located at 3359 NW Main Avenue in Jensen Beach.

The restaurant is open Sundays from 12PM-9PM, Mondays-Thursdays from 11AM-10PM, and Fridays-Saturdays from 11AM-11PM. For more information or to order takeout or FREE delivery, call 772-208-5496 or visit threeguyspizzeria.com
