Are sons special?
Info :
C. Lesson Pages * Targets Michaela (seeing & touching)
Using activities from the Lesson Pages will appeal to kindergartners who learn by seeing and touching and will help them better retain the lesson.
D. Memory Verse * Targets Austin (moving)
Using actions, like sign language, helps keep those who learn by moving involved and helps all students remember the verse.
E. Taking God’s Word Home * Targets Michaela (seeing & touching) Option: Coat Relay, p.15
Craft and handwork activities will target kindergartners who learn by touching, while keeping those who learn by seeing involved as well. Students who learn by moving may not be interested in doing crafts. You may want to have an optional activity available for them if you have an assistant who can help.
Extra Time Options * Sharing Circle * Closing Game
Have additional activities prepared in case you finish early or have a longer than average class time.
F. Take-Home Paper * Ask: What did Joseph’s dad give him? Are sons & daughters special?
Who made them special? * Targets Nate (hearing), but helps parents too
Asking leading questions as parents pick students up can help them share about the lesson. It can also help parents ask about the lesson as they look at the handwork and read Kidz Adventures during the week.
