Join in the fun at the Sip and Savor Sept. 4 at 370 Lakeside Park The Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce is excited to host the 16th annual Sip and Savor St. Charles County Taste Event. This year’s event is once again open to the public and everyone attending can satisfy all of their senses for one ticket price and listen to live music. Sip and Savor will host local restaurants waiting to dish out their finest. Attendees will spend the evening sipping wine or brews while sampling zesty barbecue, gourmet pizza, delicious pasta, sweet treats, and so much more. Try what you like or try it all. Organizers are expecting a copious number of area residents and a vast array of food and beverage vendors to enjoy a delightful evening of fun, food, and drinks while listening to live music. “Sip & Savor is a great event to showcase local restaurants, wineries and pubs in the Greater St. Charles County area,” said Wendy Rackovan, the chamber’s vice president of marketing and communications. “There is no better way to sample the fare of some of St. Charles County’s most heard of venues – all for one price.” Local entertainment, provided by Rhythm Music & Performing Arts Studio of New Town, includes: Solo artist Mariah Broeker, and The Eric Prewitt Trio. “Each year, Sip & Savor grows and

becomes the most talked about event to end Summer. This year will be no different. With over 42 food and beverage booths, no one will go away hungry. We have such a wide variety of restaurants participating, we’ll have something for everyone to enjoy,” said Rackovan. As of this printing, food and drink vendors for the 2014 Sip and Savor include Ameristar Casino, Blumenhof Vineyards Winery, Bristol Seafood Grill, Carrington Place of St. Charles, Cedar Lake Cellars, Concetta’s Italian Restaurant, Costco Wholesale Corporation, Embassy Suites, Fairwinds River’s Edge, Ferguson Brewing Co., Garage Brewers Society Homebrew Club, GFS Market Place, Glazer’s Distributors of Missouri, The HoneyBaked Ham Company, Joe’s Crab Shack, Krey Distributors, Lake St. Charles Retirement, Laszlo Corporation, Longhorn Steakhouse, MacAlister’s Deli.
