Architect of m.x studio

- M.X Studio is Organized with skill fulled Architects and proper system. We Design from Residential to Commercial Architectural Including, Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes and Retail Shops.

- Architect of M.X Studio who’s really passionate about this career had bachelor degree (B.Tech) in architecture and interior design diploma. My experiences include both Residential and commercial architectural design for almost 4 years.

- From all of experiences, I noticed how important was, requirements that a project needs, from team work, a chance to notice dealing with clients, engineers and building regulations. In every projects, I have always tried to tackle the need of the built environment in the most realistic and objective way.

- In addition, we tried to notice human dimensions, design styles, functions and user experiences when I do projects, which is essential in architecture. In here, I collected some projects that I did at university, M.X Studio Design Projects You can see my passion & experiences in this portfolio. Enjoy the projects.

Projects practiced at architecture school (TUM)

I studied Architecture in Technological University for 5 years. Those followings are my fav projects I practiced among many others in that 5 years.

Indoor gymnasium

Gymnasium is essential in every city for the wellness of citizens. The planning is done by the standard datas of Sport fileds. There’s Zones in this building that’s Preparing Rooms for athletes, Playing Area, Cafeteria etc. The building is steel structure to support the longer span where there’s light windows in the roof. The Orange Color is used as highlight to active to the players.

University library

- Books are really essential to keep humans improve their lifestyle and knowledges. So Library should be designed carefully to keep those treasure books to store wisely. This concept is to use Exterior Curtain wall Glasses to get natural lighting for the reader. But Book Shelves are kept away from the glasses not to be damaged from the sun.

- There’s both private rooms, co-working spaces and reading zones to be effective learning area. The form of this building is designed based on sun pattern to get best of energy while keeping in being comfort stage.

There’s three types of Bungalow Residences Suite Lounge with Beach View, Family Suite with Garden View & Detached Four bed room Row House. Design concept are woods in trimming & windows, white walls and wide glasses with Same double roof shapes with surroundings of tropical trees & plants.

- I always seek inspiration from the Japanese culture which is mostly minimalist and clean. This hotel guest room is desgied after resreaching those Japanese cultures and traditions.

- Concept key points here are Shoji Doors, Tea Culture, Tatami Mat, Shinto shaped furnitures. I mixed those Japanese cultures with modernist Brutulisim to get the unique Modern Japansese Interiors.

Minimal One-storied house extension

The concept of this extension house is meant to be effective and useful. There were two concepts. First one is this minimal shape which is white plain walls and warmly vertical sun screen. The flat roof is extended to the north side to get the covered space for car park which becomes the void and solid effect. The second concept is mainly Japanese theme mostly at the roof style. The interior design is solid teak woods and white wall that style is added a little feature of Chinese design.

Three-storied mix-used residence

This three storied house with retail shop on the ground is located in suburban of Mandalay . The front façade is carefully designed to connect with the side elevations not to look flat. Colour concept is plain white and neutral warm colour at ground floor walls to contrast with the rest. The handrail is designed as veranda wall to connect with top and bottom which become minimal design. Plantations are added to reduce the heating of the buildings. There’s a outdoor space at 1st storied that is connected with Shrine which is good for the healthy lifestyle.

Truck Showroom Sale Centre Warehouse

- The 6000 sq ft warehouse was designed and built by steel sturcture for the showcase and parking of working trucks. There’s office. Store & living room at ground floor and Bedrooms at second floor which are set at the north side away from south sun.

- Warehouse ceiling height is designed based on the truck height, So the necessary quantity and size of steel beams & compoments can be calculated certainly before the assembly stage.

Budget friendly warehouse is designed to build fast in limited days. White steel sheets are used to be minimal look which can reflect well the sun light.

Modern tropical kitchen

Among the room types of a house, the kitchen is most usable, important and most gathering for the family. So I made the kitchen design used as well functional & effective space.

ratten, wood & granite materials are chosed the feeling of warmly tropical style. Planning considered based on the kitchen triangle and the zoning area as Preparation, cooking & cleaning zone. Upper and Under storage cabinets made to be stored by different types of items by adding drawers and shelves.

MODERN CLASSIC KITCHEN DESIGN & INSTALLATION

Modern tropical house

Mandalay, Myanmar city is included in dry tropical zone. As I had to design a residence in that city, the tropical modern style is came to my mind to suit with this tropic weather. The house exterior façade is used the louver wood screen to reduce the radiation of the sun light.

The Roofing are added along the edges of the parapets to bold as tropical aesthetic features and to cover the mid day sun. Floor planning is carefully thought so the house doesn’t look too flat and get a feeling of depth at the exterior form.

- Villa Style Residential house among many house types have wide floor base and there’s abundant of rooms on each floor that makes a good living standard for client.

- This villa is designed with simple form to be timeless even in decades. the walls are played around to get the depth feeling and welcome shape. Only concrete and white walls are used to get comtemporay minimal look.

Contemporary villa

- As sustainability, The windows are reduced on south side which is most exposed side by the mid day sun. So the central courtyard is just added on the north side that can be accessed by any surrounding rooms.

- There’s not so much waste space which is good for the tight budget because floor planning is designed to be neat & tidy.

- Automobile Industry is already booming in Mandalay which client use that opportunity to build decent full facility Detailing Car Spa Centre.

- The Architect Researched the car spa business from Planning to matching design style with detailed standard dimensions and Industrial style.

-This Project is last long 3 Months of Design Process stage and 4 Months of Design Management and Installation.

Automobile detailing & spa

- There’s Normal Washing Zone for 3 Cars, VIP washing zone for 2 cars, Coating Rooms for 2 Cars and Large Hall Detailing Room for 4 Car.

- Other Facility Rooms are Reception, Office, Staff Zones, and Café Lounge at first floor.

- The Architect’s Job Scope for this project is from Architecture & Interior Design to Design Management and as Interior Contractor.

Automobile detailing & spa

-Lighting Designs and Façade Wire mash Metal screens are carefully designed and chose the materials for actual installation.

-We inspires this design style from 90s industrial era and took the Industrial design elements like Metal, Concrete, and Natural Color Palette.

-The Car Detailing Centre is functionally operating now with Unique architecture and Decent Infrasturcture.

-The Eco Tropical Theme is very suitable For this Restaurant because of Yay Ta Kun Taung Location.

-The Masterplan is designed including Main Building Bar House & Other Bungalows matching with main one set on 2 Acre of Farm Land.

Concept thinking

- The Design concept and restaurant type is set based on eco concept where there’s organic raised bed farming. So Ingredients on the Cuisines can be used freshly while enjoying the beauty of farmings.

Architecture planning

- The Architecture is well designed with eco farming design style and functional restaurant guidelines and standards like tables and chairs dimensions. The Bungalows’ shapes are designed based on main building.

Interior design

- Interior Design theme is chose by using Rattans, Woods, Metals and other Natural Elements that’s available in the Local Area. The Kitchens are Dinning are connected too semi visually for customers and straight way for staffs.

Farm to Table Restaurant

-Bungalows are matching in forms, shapes and proportions with main architecture & connected with Reclaimed Wood Bridge .

-The retail shop essentials are especially walking flows and shelving settings which architect carefully designed not only on planning, but also designed every shelving from attention to details.

Location – Pyin Oo Lwin

Building Area - 9450 sq-ft

Job Scope - Architecture Design

-The Client’s Primary Needs are Row Shop House including Retail Shops from Ground Floor and Other Bedrooms and Store Areas at 1st & 2nd Floors to Rent.

-The architect solve the solutions of Client’s requirements from both economic and architectural aspects based on Locations and Building type & got the total package of design solution with documents which is ready to build.

-The Architectural Design style is really unique inspired from American Houses, which is already trending on western since 90s Century.

- We decided to chose that design style because there’s so many Colonial Buildings in Pyin Oo Lwin which is matching with this building.

Budget friendly eco house

-This stunning Eco House is already on construction stage using Local Bricks and Materials to be efficient in Budget Control as the location is Pyin Oo Lwin.

-Eco Budget Friendly Architecture is suitable for the Clients who just sometimes visit to Pyin Oo Lwin as Vacation. So Architect proposed for the client and was comfired in 1st propose.

Project Name – M.X Studio Office & Residence Location - Mandalay

Construction - Zaw Construction

Type - Mix Use of Commerial & Residential.

Building Area – 5200 Sq-ft

Year - 2023

- The M.X Studio Office & Residence is Main design office for M.X Studio Team.

- Modern Minimal Concept is applied by prioritizing the functions of the building .

- Green spaces and Planter boxes are added to reduce the summer heat of Mandalay.

- The Retail Furniture Store form ground floor is accessing and supporting to the main Architectural Design office from above 1st floor that became perfect floor plan.

Scandinavian modern residence with retail shop

-This Building is the First concept of previous M.X studio design office which is inspired from Scandinavian Architecture.

-The concept was changed after carefully designed floor plans and became not suitable with this form anymore.
