Taste of Home (To Go!) with USO Location: Liberty Center Time: 6:00 - 7:00 pm Cost: Free Join Liberty and USO Sigonella for a night of home cooked comfort food, camaraderie and fun!

Garden Goals - Succulent Terrariums (SAQ) Location: Liberty Center Time: 4:30 - 7:30 pm Cost: $10 (includes all supplies and basic instructions for creating and caring for your succulents) Sign up By: January 8 at the Liberty Center Care to test your green thumb, but don’t know where to start? National Houseplant Appreciation Day sounds like a great place; plus we’re 'succas' for a good plant! Learn all the basics for taking care of the easiest houseplant of them all – succulents - and learn how to create your own terrarium with these Sicilian garden staples.

Rubber Ducky Day Relay Location: NAS II Pool Time: 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Cost: FREE Sign up By: January 12 Rubber Ducky, you’re the one! Literally…Number One, World Class, Top Notch – Champion. Grab your relay team and head to either pool for an amphibious relay for the ages. Registration is encouraged, but not required.

Friday Fun: Mini Golf The PGA Tour has arrived in Sigonella! The Liberty Center has our mini golf course set up and ready for you to take a (mini) swing at it.

Hot Chocolate Bar Marshmallows, candy canes and cinnamon – oh my! We’ll have all the fixings for you to make your dream cup of hot chocolate in early celebration of a day dedicated to our favorite sweet beverage!

Our Soft Archery Competition tests balance and accuracy, while navigating through a challenging archery course.

During the competition, participants will use soft archery equipment. Must be 18+ to participate.

Participants will compete in 3 challenges testing: accuracy, endurance and distance. Sign up is encouraged, but drop in athletes can also compete!

Making a Movie The Sigonella community is invited to submit a 30 second to 1 minute movie clip acting out their favorite movie scene, but with a COVID-19 twist! All submissions must be PG in nature.

Please submit your video to MWR through a private Facebook message no later than January 29. All submissions will be compiled together to make a short community movie which will air on MWR Sigonella's Facebook page and also on the big screen in Midtown 2 Theaters once it reopens.

• Favorite Outdoor Sicilian Activities (ie: Kayaking, Biking, Spelunking etc.)

• Favorite Historical Sicilian Experiences (ie: Agrigento, Museums, Historical Villas, WWII Ruins etc.)

Amateur Sommelier Video Competition Afters months (or maybe even years) of wine pairing training, it is finally time for you to shine! We've trained you well, now it's time for the student to become the teacher. Whip up your favorite wine pairing duo (the crazier, the better), film the unveiling and submit it to MWR through a private Facebook message for a chance to win a NEX gift card!

Competition Details: • Submit your video to MWR between January 18 - 22 for consideration via our MWR Sigonella Facebook page: www.facebook.com/SIGONELLAMWR • Our winner will be decided by our trips and tours manager and featured on our MWR Sigonella Facebook page.

• Winning combinations will be taste tested and reenacted by our MWR staff to ensure the pairing is truly perfection.

• Please be sure to use either a local Sicilian wine or beer for your tasting submissions.

• Videos should be no longer than 1 minute.

Community Quilt Display Let’s celebrate the New Year by creating a community quilt display! From January 11 through 15, stop by the MWR Library to pick up a fabric square to decorate with positive messages for the upcoming year. Paint, color, transfer, sew or embroider your design; the choice is yours! All submissions returned to the library by January 22 will be joined together to create a colorful and inspiring display. Our finished product will be on display throughout the month of February.

Car Facts Report Cost: $25 per car Our staff will put your car through a 30+ point assessment that will tell you everything you need to know before buying or selling the car.

Auto Maintenance Class: Tires 101 Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Ages: 18+ Cost: $5 Winter is coming and road conditions are changing!

Do you know if you’re driving on the right kind of tires? Learn everything there is to know about your tires with hands-on instruction. Our class includes guidance on how to check tread life, how to balance and rotate your tires and tips for when it is time to replace your tires. Registration is not required.

Decorating Classes

TUESDAY, 5

Cupcakes Location: MWR Classroom Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Cost: $35 Holiday potlucks got you down on your baking skills? Why not learn how to make elegant cupcake designs with MWR? During this 2-hour class, you will learn classic piping techniques that will awe your family and friends. At the end of the class, participants can take their creations home to enjoy with family or devour all themselves.

Winter Cookies Location: MWR Classroom Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Cost: $35 Brrrr it's chilly outside! Warm up with MWR and learn a new skill in our Cookie Decorating Class. During this class, participants will recieve a dozen winter-themed cookies to learn various royal icing design techniques.

Everyone will be able take their creations home to enjoy.

Fondant Cupcakes Location: MWR Classroom Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Cost: $35 Ever wonder how bakeries create cute little snowman or snowflake masterpieces? If so, join MWR to learn how! We'll be decorating winter-themed cupcakes, utilizing fondant design techniques.

Beginner's Cake Location: MWR Classroom Time: 5:30 - 7:30 pm Cost: $50 Join MWR to create your very own Winter Hat Cake! During this class, every participant will receive a cake to decorate utilizing different frosting piping techniques to create your very own masterpiece. Your family won't know whether to eat it or wear it! *Please note that dates and times are subject to change. In the case of class cancellation, participants will be notified as soon as possible.
