Starts: 2:00 pm Minecraft Tournament This August, our Sigonella Youth will have the opportunity to connect with their peers through a Minecraft online gaming tournament! Participants will be able to share screens and chat with each other during these virtual meetings. Participants are given one hour to create a design for a given topic or compete in a PvP game. Weekly prizes for our winners!

Noto, Tellaro Roman Villas and Planeta Winery Depart: NAS II 7:30 am, Marinai 7:45 am, NAS I 8:00 am Return: 7:30 pm Cost: $75 (Includes transportation, guide, lunch and wine tasting) Visit the "Lacy City" to view some of the most wonderful examples of Baroque architecture in Sicily. We’ll have lunch and wine tasting at Planeta Winery following the tour around Noto. Please wear comfortable walking shoes.

Along the tour, we will get the opportunity to see the Ear of Dionysius, the Greek-Roman Amphitheater, the Siracusa Cathedral, the Temple of Athena, and the mythological Fontana di Aretusa. After the tour, we will stop for lunch at Trattoria Fiorentina. At registration, please choose from a seafood, meat, or vegetarian/vegan meal option.

After our meal, we will tour the city of Ragusa which plays host to a wide array of Baroque architecture, including several stunning palaces and churches in the lower Ibla section, including the Cathedral of San Giorgio.

Gaetano Venticinque Bowling Equipment Repairer - Bowling Center Gaetano began working for MWR in December 2001 and since then, he has been nothing but an incredible asset to our Spare Time Bowling team! Not only does he keep Spare Time Bowling's lanes up and running flawlessly, he is also always willing to lend a helping hand for other departments whenever technical repairs are needed. We especially want to recognize him for the hard work he put in to designing and painting the 4th of July festival's lawn bowling lanes, to ensure the Red, White and Strike event was a complete success! His personal touches with custom painting over 15 pins for prizes portrays just how passionate he is about the Spare Time bowling program and MWR as a whole. Congratulations Gaetano on this well-deserved recognition!
