Etna! Along the way, catch the beautiful sunset from the Baracca shelter! This hike will ascend trough Sartorius and Corvo subterminal volcanos where we will cross one of the more ancient forests of Etna. Please remember to bring waterproof boots, warm layers, winter attire, water and snacks/packed dinner. Winter jackets and pants are available to rent from Community Recreation, if necessary.

Please note, all drivers must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License (the equivalent of an Italian B or B1 Motorcycle license). Quads are double quads and require two people. This workshop allows attendees to see what life can be like when we focus on what we desire. Remember, abundance can be anything we desire including, but not limited to: energy, love, health, wealth or joy. Please remember to wear comfortable clothes and bring water, a journal/notebook, pen, an eye mask and a yoga mat, if possible. Additional yoga mats will be provided, if needed. JUNIOR EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH | JANUARY 2022 KellyMar Malaret CYP Assistant CYP provides caregivers with in-depth care and safety training to help ensure their staff is engaged, fully aware of safety concerns, and knowledgeable on how to handle difficult childcare situations. Ms. KellyMar consistently utilizes this training to ensure the children in her classroom are safe and well cared for on a daily basis. In extraordinary circumstances, KellyMar has also proven herself to be able to react quickly and utilize her professional training when a child showed signs of choking. Thanks to KellyMar, a serious situation was quickly and safely prevented. She consistently proves herself to be a tremendous asset to the CYP team. We especially want to thank KellyMar for her extreme flexibility this past month supporting both the CDC and SAC programs while they were significantly impacted by COVID. Congratulations KellyMar! Hike Cavagrande Depart: NAS II 8:00 am, NAS I 8:15 am Return: 4:00 pm Cost: $15 (Includes transportation only) Journey down 1,000+ feet into the Cassible Valley and take a dip into the refreshing emerald pools at the bottom! Learn about Leave No Trace Environmental Ethics from a Master Educator while taking in the stunning views. This hike has demanding uphill portions, but it is well worth the effort! Patrons should bring hiking shoes, water, and a packed lunch. Pants and long sleeves are highly recomended.
