Raven stepped up without hesitation to keep our facility and services open to patrons, assisting with everything from manning the front desk, checking equipment in and out, providing snow gear fittings and offering overall administrative support. She also supported her colleagues by working specialty events as well as training temporary staff as she transitions out of her current role. Nebrodi Park Hike: Catafulco Waterfalls Easy Depart: NAS II 6:30 am, Marinai 6:45 am, NAS I 7:00 am Return: 7:00 pm Ages: 16+ Cost: $35 (Includes transportation and guide. Bring a packed lunch.) Hike the beautiful Nebrodi Park, a natural area off the beaten path near the northern coast of the island! Start by hiking through the park’s woodlands and exploring the waterfall of Catafulco. The water collects at the foot of the falls in a natural pool called Marmitta dei Giganti, “Giant’s Marble.” Along the way, be sure you keep an eye out for the famous Sicilian Black pigs! Following the hike, stop in town for the opportunity to buy the traditional bread, cheese or salami from the Nebrodi area. Please note, the hike is at least 4.5 km, an estimated 3/4 hours.

Lava Hike & Gambino Winery Tour Depart: NAS II 8:30 am, Marinai 8:45 am, NAS I 9:00 am Return: 5:00 pm Age: 18+ Cost: $65 (Includes transportation, naturalist guide, lunch, and wine tasting) Take a hike through the woods surrounding the Gambino Winery, exploring the eastern side of Mt. Etna and the lava flow from 2002! Following the hike, enjoy a tour of Gambino complete with lunch and a wine tasting.

Pomiciaro for breathtaking views of Mt. Etna’s summit crater and the expansive Valle del Bove! Observe past lava flows and look for current volcanic activity. Please remember to bring hiking shoes, plenty of water, snacks and layers (cotton not recommended) to fuel this strenuous hike and keep warm.

Salina Island Walking Tour Depart: NAS II 5:00 am, Marinai 5:15 am, NAS I 5:30 am Return: 9:30 pm Cost: $120 (includes transportation, guide, ferry fees, Malvasia and caper tasting and lunch) Enjoy the naturalistic side of Salina Island, the greenest of the Aeolian Archipelago, with a tasty twist! Hike the beautiful and panoramic trail immersed in Mediterranean flora with views of the neighboring islands of Filicudi and Alicudi. During this two-hour trek, we’ll refuel with delicious Malvasia wine and local biscuits. Following the hike, we’ll also enjoy a wine tasting and BBQ lunch at Cantine D'Amico.

Family Sledding Day on Mt. Here, we will kick back and warm up with a traditional, Sicilian BBQ lunch. Please be sure to wear waterproof boots and warm winter attire (layers recommended) and don’t forget to bring water!

Couples' Love & Connections Breathwork Course Location: Chart Room Time: 6:00 - 7:30 pm Ages: 18+ Cost: $60/couple This couples' breathwork session will focus on connection and love. Learn how to connect with your partner through breath, deep journal prompts and eye gazing in order to create meaningful conversations in your relationship. Co-breathing with your partner creates a deep connection within both the soul and the body that is powerful, yet vulnerable and unlike any other connection. Please bring a notebook/journal and pen or pencil. Participants should also wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle as well as a yoga mat and eye mask if possible.
