Italian Conversation Group Time: 4:30 - 5:30 pm These informal discussions will be used as a chance to practice and learn the Italian language with others in the community.

We will discuss topics of interest to the group in a fun and relaxing atmosphere.

Minecraft Challenge Tournament Location: Virtual Starts: 4:30 pm Participants will be able to share screens and chat with each other during these meetings. In this tournament, participants are given one hour to create a design for a given topic or compete in a P v P game. There will also be weekly prizes for our winners!

Holiday Movie Kahoot Challenge Location: Virtual Starts: 6:30 pm Come participate in the Virtual Holiday Movie Kahoot Challenge this holiday season! Youth will virtually meet December 17 at 6:30 p.m. for this challenge.

Lemon Farm Hike and Lunch Easy Depart: NAS II 8:00 am, Marinai 8:15 am, NAS I 8:30 am Return: 5:00 pm Cost: $80 (Includes transportation, guide, BBQ lunch and granita) Take in the spectacular views of Catania and Taormina with an easy 2km hike along the Timpa, a natural cliff created from the movement of one of the biggest faults in eastern Sicily. The hike will lead to a local lemon farm where one of the few Granita Masters still in existence will teach the group about this delicious specialty and treat us with a freshly prepared batch of lemon granita. Here, we will also enjoy a lunch comprised of traditional local entrees and sweets.

Mt Sartorious Family Hike Depart: NAS II 8:00 am, Marinai 8:15 am, NAS I 8:30 am Return: 4:00 pm Cost: $35 Adults/Free for children (Includes transportation and guide) This hike will be easy to moderate intensity, and children must be able to hike trail terrain for at least 1-2 hours (2.5/ 3 miles). Along the way, our guide will point out interesting areas on the volcano, including one of the oldest conifer forests in Sicily and seven of Etna’s extinct volcanic craters.

Please remember to bring water, snacks, and wear layers (cotton not recommended).
