THE VIEWER Dear Class of 2024,
Welcome to Mounds View! Wow! Your first day of high school is probably nothing like you imagined ‌ but no worries. There are so many people here to help you on your journey! Our deans and Mustang Mentors are dedicated to answering your questions and helping out with any concerns you may have. Do not hesitate to reach out to any of them! Throughout your four years here, you will be exposed to a whole new world of possibilities, like attending your first pep fest or homecoming dance. Or, maybe you will join a club or a sports team. No matter what you take part in, you will find your own unique experience. Aside from school activities and sports, Mounds View also offers a variety of classes from biology and calculus to child psychology and foods. With so many options, this is the perfect time to explore your passions and curiosities. Take a class in something that sounds interesting but you have never tried before, or enroll in a challenging course in a subject you already know a lot about. Every student will find classes that fit them perfectly. Finally, you will probably run into some challenges during high school — and that is okay! You will learn and grow as a person with each struggle, and remember, you are never alone. You are starting a new chapter in your life, so dream big, work hard and have fun!
