SHAWN SUTTA, piano
Shawn Sutta, a versatile artist, excels as a multi-instrumentalist, performer, music director, producer, and film composer. His musical journey encompasses numerous performances across diverse genres, enchanting audiences locally and internationally. As a prolific music producer, Shawn has contributed to over a dozen full-length albums, with some amassing over 1 million streams. Currently, he serves as the music director at Old Cutler Presbyterian Church. Over the past 13 years, Shawn has crafted cinematic scores for films and episodic series featured in theaters, HBO, Showtime, Netflix, Hulu, and esteemed festivals like Sundance, Berlin, SXSW, and Tribeca. Notably, his latest soundtrack for the film ‘Poser’ has been released by Lakeshore Records and is available on all major streaming platforms. His latest film score, “Lost Soulz,” is set to release in theaters in April 2024. Driven by a profound passion for music, Shawn’s commitment lies in uniting people through artistic expression. A fervent collaborator, he thrives on working with orchestras, choirs, bands, and instrumentalists, closely collaborating with filmmaking teams to create works of art that resonate deeply with audiences.
KELLEY KESSELL, voice
Kelley Kessell is a multifaceted musician, performing artist and software creator. She attended New World School of the Arts with a focus in music theater, and later graduated from Florida State University with a degree in computer science. In 2012, she was recognized by the Obama administration as one of twenty U.S. Presidential Scholars in the Arts. She later participated in American for the Arts’ National Art Policy Roundtable, hosted by Robert Redford, where she contributed to the conversation about the role of the arts in a shifting economy. While in college, Kessell served as the lead singer and songwriter for the band Why Not Y. Their music can be found on iTunes, YouTube, SoundCloud and Spotify, where they have garnered over 700,000 streams. Most recently, Kessell has performed original works at the renowned Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and locally at the South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center. Kessell now works at the National YoungArts Foundation as artist community manager, where she leads the charge in developing and maintaining the organization’s first digital alumni platform, YoungArts Post. She continues to perform and pursue a career in the arts.
ABBY YOUNG, violin
An active performer and committed arts advocate, Abby Young is a violinist, violin teacher, and arts administrator in Miami, Florida. As Personnel Manager and violinist for Nu Deco Ensemble, she has shared the stage with Wyclef Jean, PJ Morton, Ben Folds, Corey Henry, Jacob Collier, and Macy Gray. Abby also performs regularly with the Naples Philharmonic, and has performed with Björk, Andrea Bocelli, Michael Bolton, José Feliciano, Natalie Cole, the Marley Brothers, and with KSHMR at the Ultra and Ilesoniq Music Festivals. Abby is a founding member of the Collins Quartet, the local Listeso String Quartet for Candlelight Concerts in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Palm Beach. A former Henry Mancini Institute Fellow and Teaching Assistant, Abby earned her Master’s and Doctoral Degrees in Violin Performance at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music. Her doctoral research culminated in her thesis, entitled “Job Satisfaction of Orchestral Musicians: The Effects of Non-Performance Organizational Roles.” Abby later returned to Frost to serve as the Managing Director of the Henry Mancini Institute from 2020-2023. A native of Ashland, OR, Abby grew up studying Klezmer and Celtic music, and performing with her family band. In her free time, she aims to visit a new country each year, and enjoys being outside as much as the South Florida weather will allow.
ANDRES FERRET, bass
Andres Ferret is a bassist born and raised in Miami, Florida. As a talented and versatile bass player he became an important piece in the Miami music scene forming his own project, Anemoia, writing and performing with Nu Deco Ensemble, and collaborating with many other artists. He attended the University of Miami’s Frost school of Music where he studied jazz bass. Upon graduating he has had the pleasure to work with Latin artists such as J NOA on NPR Tiny Desk, Elena Rose, Mau y Ricky but also with powerful and unique original music projects in Miami including Electric Kif, Afrobeta, Miamibloco, Rick Moon, and many more.
The M Building
The M Building is a unique event space, showroom, and art gallery. Formerly a 1950’s manufacturing warehouse, the building has been impeccably restored by award-wining architect Chad Oppenheim with attention to detail and consideration to maintain it’s unique design integrity. The distinctive property is in the heart of Wynwood Art District, adjacent to the Miami Design District, and conveniently one block from the Rubell Family Collection. The 12,000 square feet two-story structure comprises 5 gallery spaces and a tropical garden for spectacular outdoor entertaining. A formal living space and a garden terrace have been designed by prominent, international interior designer Chahan Minassian. This tropical modernist structure offers a unique setting for private events, corporate receptions, shows, and family celebrations.

About musimelange
Founded in Miami in 2010 musimelange is an immersive concert experience that awakens your senses, pairing chamber music with gastronomy and wine tastings. Hosted in the inviting ambiance of an art gallery's living room, The M Building nestled in Miami's Wynwood Art District. It continues the tradition of the salons from the Belle Epoque, where important public figures, artists, writers and musicians were introduce to their friends in hopes of inspiring a flow of ideas and creativity for an enriched life.
At musimelange, we believe in crafting a beautiful life through beautiful experiences. We redefine the concert journey by seamlessly merging the art of chamber music with gastronomy and wine, creating a multisensory experience that engages all senses. Our intimate, stage-less concerts bring musicians and audiences in close proximity, fostering a deep connection where the audience becomes an integral part of the performance.

Having traversed the globe, Anne Chicheportiche, the French violinist and founder of musimelange, now shares her passion for extraordinary music-making and diverse cultural influences by exceptionally talented artists. Her mission is to foster a welcoming environment that seamlessly integrates music, social networking, and gourmet experiences, facilitating connections between musicians and audiences beyond Symphony Halls. Upholding the highest standards of artistic excellence, she ensures that every showcased genre exceeds the expectations of even the most discerning music connoisseurs.
