Modular Synth / Electronic Noise Performance

Performers follow a combination of verbal and graphic instructions. The setup centers on a modular synthesizer with spring reverb, delay, and distortion effects. The performance may involve multiple players, with one or more musicians dedicated to controlling and shaping the effects.

Improvising Soloist

In Wind Up Paradise Birds, Waking Up Again, Cave, and the introduction of Jungle Alarm, a jazz/improvising saxophone soloist is required. The performer can use the recorded version of the album (Hubro, 2019) as a reference point for their improvisation.
