SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT
A Resort Collection with a New Storied Retreat Becomes a Sponsor
Opal Collection is known as a premier assortment of luxury hotels and resorts located in coveted destinations along the East Coast, from Bar Harbor, Maine to Key West, Florida. In March of 2023, that collection got grander with the addition of Wentworth by the Sea, a storied, Gilded-Age retreat nestled on a seaside bluff in New Castle.
Opal is also a company that specializes in helping guests to truly immerse themselves in the culture of the destinations where their resorts reside to make memories that outlast any short-lived getaway. That’s why they’ve become one of our valued sponsors: They recognize The Music Hall is a core part of the Portsmouth cultural experience and one they want to share with guests of their historic hotel.
The feeling is certainly mutual. In fact, you could think of Wentworth by the Sea (built in 1874) as something of an older sister to our Historic Theater (built in 1878) – both were owned by Frank Jones for a short time. So, from one Grande Dame to another, we are proud to welcome Wentworth by the Sea and Opal Collection to The Music Hall sponsor family.
Learn more about Opal Collection at opalcollection.com and Wentworth by the Sea at opalcollection.com/wentworth or visit their dedicated travel blog at opalcollection.com/blog/ Visit TheMusicHall.org to read about all our Corporate Partners.
