This recital is presented as a degree requirement towards a Bachelors of Music in Music Education.

Michael De Lashmutt is under the instruction of Ricardo Martinez studying saxophone. While Michael will continue his studies at University of the Pacific for the 2022-2023 academic year, he aims to audition for various military bands post graduation as well as teach secondary music classes and ensembles. During his time at University of the Pacific, Michael has been under the instruction of Alex Reyes studying Jazz performance, Aaron Garner studying jazz piano, and Dr. Hendel Almetus studying composition.

Michael has also been a part of many ensembles, including the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Pacific Opera, Pacific Jazz Ensemble, Pacific Little Big Band, and the University Symphonic Orchestra. Some elective work Michael has participated in includes the Analog Digital Studio for modular synthesis as well as Digital Music Synthesis. music.pacific.edu
