Boisdale Media leads with the authoritative and respected publication Boisdale Life magazine, independently audited at 140,000 copies and taking inspiration from the audience of a leading restaurant group, with a loyal customer base. Never before has a restaurant group produced an intelligent, entertaining and informative magazine on this scale – nor has a media company had the ability to offer advertisers face-to-face interaction on a daily basis, with London’s affluent and influential, opinion-forming audience. Ranald Macdonald is the founder of the Boisdale Restaurant Group. An established and trusted brand with four restaurants, including a new offering in Mayfair. The restaurants specialise in British ingredients, cigars and whisky, as well running a comprehensive Jazz programme, curated by Jools Holland. Coincidentally all the things Ranald enjoys doing.
Harry Owen is the Managing Director of the Boisdale Media Group. He was previously the Publishing Director of City AM for eight years and part of the team that launched the newspaper in 2005. He also enjoys writing and contributes to the magazine under a pseudenum. He recently interviewed Charlie Sheen for Boisdale Life magazine.
Paddy Renouf is the Editor at Large of Boisdale Life Magazine. He is a raconteur and culturalpreneur running a successful business looking after some of the world’s rich and famous. Kelsey Grammer recently described his time as, “A magical discovery awaits everyone, including families and children, when in the company of this urbane lovely man.”
Jools Holland as well as being the Boisdale Patron of Music, is of course an internationally renowned pianist, composer, presenter and leader of the world famous Rhythm and Blues Orchestra. In between his annual Hootenanny, Jools hosts the ‘Boisdale Music Awards’, celebrating the best Jazz, Blues and Soul from the stage of Boisdale Canary Wharf.

The panels are double sided and also seen by the valuable community eating & drinking within Boisdale. The sponsorship also includes the option to sample within the restaurant during the tenancy.
3.65 million passengers pass through City Airport each year. Boisdale Media has an exclusive outdoor share of voice within the airport – ensuring Boisdale marketing content is on every screen throughout the year in a loop of 4 adverts across the 60 digital 70” screens in the airport (media value in excess of £1m). Each month Boisdale Media will partner with one client to target this audience and create a joint branding opportunity aimed at the affluent audience passing through the airport (£97k average income, 59% male, 66% working in business & financial services).
