The new Special Duty Suit has been exclusively designed with rugged SL Jolm duties in mind.
Brigade approved special duty wear for adu lts and cadets, male and female, this new one piece suit is in highly visible saturn yellow for safety and identification.
Every feature has been carefully considered to be functional but stylish. There are five useful patch pockets with "touch and close" fastners for added security.
It's comp lete with epaulettes to carry rank markings. Badge B04100 should be ordered separately.
Designcd to be comfortable but hard wearing in washable polyester cotton, the suit has a two-way zip front fastening, e lastica ted waist with side belt adjusters and tapered sleeves with velcro cuffs. The legs are unhemmed but overlocked for personal adjustment to your own leg length. We even supply the matching thread for your DIY sewing!
For additional identification there are velcro strips above the left breast pocket and on the back for you to insert velcro Identification Badges of your choice. (The badges hould be removed before washing or cleaning the suit.)

HOW TO CHOOSERefer to the new Combined Dress Regulations for invaluable guidance to ensure the correct items to suit your needs. We recommend that Members discuss their requirements with the Officer-in-Charge of their unit before ordering.
Spend a few minutes measuring - get a friend to help you and use a tape measure, don't just guess. Keep the measure taut but not tight. Check your measurements against the size charts and ensure you order the correct product code for the size required. (A made to measure service is available if a stock size is not suitable from our wide range). Just follow these simple steps to get the right fit.
Ladies - Measure your bust around the fullest part. Measure your waist around the natural waist band. Measure your hips around the fullest part, usually 8" below the waist. Skirt lengths (excluding waistband) are
shown with the individual descriptions. Check which one suits you.
Men - Measure your chest around the fullest part, well under the arms and over the shoulder blades. Measure your waist around your natural waistline.
Order the length of jacket you need.
Fittings Short (S) 28 1 /2", Regular (R) 29 1 12" and Long (Ll 30 1 12" are available, they relate to height. An approximate guide to help you: Short Height 5' 5" to 5' 7" Regular Height 5' 8" to 5' 10" Long
Measure the inside leg measurement of trousers. The easiest way is to take a pair of trousers which you consider a good fit.
Gloves Measure over the widest part of your hand at the base of your thumbs, measure in inches.
Caps Hold the tape to fit snug around the bead, over the forehead and behind the ears. Order the corresponding size. Many of our garments are packed ready for despatch and may need to be hung or lightly pressed before use.
REMEMBER-
The measurements shown in the catalogue are for body not garment size. Allowance will be made for a comfortable fit.

Send our easy to follow Order Forms to St John Supplies , Priory House, St John's Lane EC1M 4DA together wiLh your cheque or postal order made payable to St John Supplies, crossed "Account Payee". Please do not send cash through the post. Don't forget to add the appropriate delivery charge, (see below).
By Fax
Credit Card Holders may Fax their orders to 071-253 8826 quoting AccesslVisal American Express Account Number and Expiry Date, and full order details. The appropriate delivery charge will be added to your Credit Card charge. You may select from the full range of delivery options, see below. Do not confirm a faxed order through the post.
By Phone - at any time
Credit Card holders may phone their orders on the Credit Card Orderline 071-251 2483 or 071-2530024 for Speedline Silveri Gold service for urgent deliveries. The appropriate delivery charge (see below) will be added to your Credit Card charge.

St John Ambulan ce units or Special Centres may apply and subject to status checks an account number will be issued. Proforma invoices can be issued if an initial order is urgent.

Commercial organis ations , may open accounts, two trade references and a Bank Reference are required. You will be issued with an Account Number and a credit limit, subject to status. Pro-forma invoices can be issued if an initia l order is urgent.
