Refer to the Combined Dress Regulations for invaluable guidance to ensure the correct items to suit your needs. We recommend that Members discuss their requirements with the Off icer-in- Charge of their unit before ordering
Spend a few minutes measuringget a friend to help you and use a tape measure, don't just guess. Keep the measure taut but not tight Chec k your measurements against the size charts and ensure you order the correct product code for the size required. (A made to measure service is available if a stock size is not suitab l e from our wide ra nge ) Just follow these simple steps to get the right fit
Ladies - Measure your bust around the fullest part
Measure your waist around the natural waist band
Measure your hips around the fullest part, usually 8" below the waist.
Skirt l engths (excluding waistband) are shown with the individua l descriptions Check which one suits you
Men - Measure your chest around the fullest part, well under the arms and over the shoulder blades Measure your waist around your natural waistline
Order the length of jacket you need Fittings Short (S) 28'/2 ", Regular (R) 29 1/ 2 " and Long (L) 30 ' / 2 " are available, they relate to height An approximate guide to help you:

Measure the inside leg measurement of trousers The eas est way is to take a pai r of trousers which you consider a good fit Lay them on a flat surface and measure from the crotch down the insi de seam to the hem
Gloves Measure over the widest part of your hand at the base of your thumbs, measur e in inches
Caps Hold the tape to fit snug around the head, over the forehead and behind the ears Order the corresponding size
Many of our garments are packed ready for despatch and may need to be hung or lightly pressed before use
