GENERAL REGULATIONS
.
1 . l\Jembers in possession of Uniforms on the (1ate of the issue of these Regulat i ons are a ll owed to wear out same
2 Uniforms can only be procured 011 production of a" nifurtll Perm i t" signed by the Officer in Charge of the Division to which the mem ber belongs.
3 Offi c ers in Charge o f Divisions will be held responsible tbat no deviati o n from the autborised patterns of the Uniforms is permi tt ed.
4. No Member may wear the Uniform except at drills and on duty, authorised by the Officer in Charge of her Division; at parades authori!:ed by the Commissioner of the County, City or Borough to which the Division is attached, or on special occasions authorised by the Commissioner for vVales.
S Decorations, Medals and Ribbons shall only be worn in accordance with the Offic i al Brigade Regulations, page 42 The War Service Badge will be worn on the right breast .
6 . Members of Nursing Divisions are not to wear Jewellery when in Uniform.
7. Member!'l may obtain Uniforl1ls through any manufacturer or ta i lor so long as patterns and colour of the cloth as laid down are adhered t o, and Officers in Charge of DivisiollS are responsible for seeing that the Regulation Uniforll1 is worn by their members. No deviation from the Regul&tioll Uniform is ever to be permitted.

Skirt with panelled Dl'e3S. back and front stitched through to hem, a row of e i ght plated buttons down the centre of bodice ,vith pleat each side of buttons, with plain coat sleeve, moderate size, and bvo tucks frOlll under shoulder strap to waist, three buttons on sleeve, one patch pocket 011 side with button Badges of rank to be worn on shoulder straps.
Black Felt with ,,-hite corded ribbon, edged Hat. with a broad and narrO\\T stripe of black; regulation enalllel brooch badge to be worn in front, in the n1iddle of the ribbon .

Arnl Badge with 3 stars n10unted on white box c10th on black petersham Armlet inches wide, to be worn on the outer side of the righ t sleeve of dress halfway between the poin t of shoulder and elbow. NOTE :-The letter "A" (Assistant Nurse) to be ,vorn on shonlder straps of indoor uniforn1 by those n1em bers of N lHsing Divisions who as V A.D. nIen1bers passed the qualifying exan1ination.
LADY CORPS OFFICERS.
Black and white striped "Y.lshing dress, regulation n1aterial, h!.11 housemaid's skirt, with three l-il1ch tucks at the bottom, to be at least two inches off the ground a1l round. Plain bodice with 2-inch tucks down each side of front, with coat sleeve n10derate size, and straigh t neckband nnder the linen co1lar. Shoulder straps to be worn on the indoor uniform of the san1e material as the dress.

Service Badges will be ,vorn as follows :-
1st Badge (3 years' ervice) to be worn imn1ediately below centre of Arnl Badge.
2nd Badge (6 years' service) to be worn one each side of the Arn1 Badge at the bottom, with a space of one inch and a half between both.
3rd Badge (9 years' service) to be worn on right side of the Arnl Badge at the centre.
4th Badge (12 years' sen ,ice ) t o be worn on left side of the Arm Badge at the centre.
