ARGYLE EDUCATION FOUNDATION PUTS ON ANNUAL CHILI COOK OFF
The Argyle Education Foundation will host the fourth annual Chili Cook Off and Mac Down will be hosted Sunday, November 7th at Unity Park near Argyle Intermediate School. Our local residents can curb their hot chili and macaroni and cheese cravings while enjoying all of the fun festivities that include live music, great food and much more.

HALLOWEEN COSTUME GOAT YOGA
On Saturday, October 30th from 10:30 am to 11:30 am the town of Argyle will be hosting Halloween Goat Yoga. Come dressed and ready for Halloween night. This event is being held on the Harvest by Hillwood event lawn across the street from Farmhouse Coffee & Treasures. Partial proceeds from this class will benefit North Texas Food Bank.

LIBERTY CHRISTIAN STUDENT NAMED COMMENDED STUDENT
Liberty Christian is proud to announce that their student, Amalya, was named a Commended Student in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program. Amalya placed among the top 50,000 students who entered this year’s competition by taking the Preliminary SAT.
ARGYLE MIDDLE SCHOOL BANDS WINS AWARDS
The Argyle Middle School Honor Winds and Symphonic Bands have each earned national awards. The Honor Winds, led by Evan Fletcher, have been selected as a National Winner in the Mark of Excellence/National Wind Band Honors Project. Meanwhile, the Symphonic Band, led by Bojan Gutic, was honored with a Citation of Excellence by the Foundation for Music Education.


CELEBRATING ARBOR DAY
On Saturday, November 6th from 10 am to 1 pm the Town of Argyle will host the third annual Arbor Day Celebration at BPS Technology in Argyle. Since this event falls on the same day as Mornings with the Mayor, Mayor Bryan Livingston will have a table set up for residents of Argyle to chat and grab coffee and donuts as they drive through and pick up their tree.
WANDER MAKERS MARKET THROWS FALL MARKET
This Fall Makers Market will be made up of handcrafted items from a wide variety of local businesses. Enjoy a complimentary mimosa and a sweet treat while you shop the wide variety of unique, locally owned, hand crafted businesses. This event is being held on November 18th at 5 pm.


ARGYLE HIGH SCHOOL EARNS RECORD FOUR NATIONAL MERIT SEMIFINALISTS
Argyle High School students Jasmine Ball, Alex Gomez, Bryce Roberts, and Vidit Tripathi have made a school record by having been named National Merit Semifinalists for 2022. These students are four of approximately 16,000 Semifinalists in the 67th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Each of these four students with have the opportunity to move forward in the competition for 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $30 million that will be offered next spring.
UIL AWARDS ARGYLE HIGH SCHOOL WITH 11TH LONE STAR CUP TROPHY
Argyle High School was presented with the 2020-2021 University Interscholastic League Lone Star Cup Award during half time of the Eagles vs Celina game. The UIL Lone Star Cup is annually awarded to the most successful schools in each of the state’s six classifications.
