RESIDENT RECEIVES UNSUNG HERO AWARD

Resident and Northlake Police Department employee, Emily Harville, was honored by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) with the Unsung Hero Award! Emily regularly assists victims by ensuring all their documents, videos, statements, lab submissions, and cases are in order before being sent to the DA’s office. She’s often the first voice a victim of DWI will hear when calling the police department and she does so while putting them at ease. photo courtesy of Town of Northlake, Texas, Municipal Government Facebook page

Northwest ISD friends at Amazon popped into J. Lyndal Hughes Elementary School to surprise Northwest ISD educator, Ms. Phan! SHOES AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR NISD STUDENTS

Northwest ISD Education Foundation (NEF) and Northwest ISD Partners in Education went out to deliver shoes and school supplies to every Northwest ISD campus! This is all thanks to those who donated and supported the back-toschool campaign benefiting Northwest ISD students. We wish we could have seen the look on the students’ faces when they received these donated items.
