Tournaments continued to be very well supported and we thank everyone in the Munster Branch and all the various clubs and players who continue to support Masters Tennis making it such a vibrant and popular section of Tennis in Ireland.

The Irish National Close Young Seniors and the Seniors and Super Seniors Championships were held at Rushbrooke Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club over two weekends in September.

Irish Teams travelled again internationally in 2022 and Munster was very well represented in all age Groups both at the World Championships and the 4 Nations.

I would like to thank the Committee Members throughout the year for their hard work and diligence: our Munster Branch President Robert Cummins, Marcella Kelly, Ron O’Mahoney, Eddie Ronayne, Pamela Scott & Yuan Yuan Lu Flanaghan.

Both events were organised by the Munster Branch and a thank you to all who took part.

A huge thank you goes to Rushbrooke for hosting both events and to the team who planned the events.

Both events were very well supported with Players from all 4 provinces playing in what were both fantastic Championships.
