2021 Young Seniors Interprovincial Cham Championships pionships

As President of Tennis Ireland, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to The 2021 Young Seniors Interprovincial Championships.

Thanks to Munster Branch Tennis Ireland for running the event this year. It is fantastic to be able to have such an event this year again having missed out last year due to Covid-19.

We are very grateful to St. Annes Tennis Club for hosting this event at their outstanding venue, and also to Tramore Tennis Club for offering additional courts in such a fabulous setting.

This year sees the addition of the 30+ category in Seniors Tennis and the first time the 30+ event will be run at the Interprovincial Championships which will also be run in line with the ITF format for Seniors Tennis.

I hope that everyone involved in the event has a great time and I look forward to meeting you over the weekend.

Munster Tennis is delighted to be hosting the 2021 Young Seniors Interprovincial Championships at St. Annes Tennis Club & Tramore Tennis Club in Waterford.

Our sincere thanks & gratitude to all at St Annes & Tramore for their generous support in facilitating our first Interprovincial Championships since 2019 - one I am sure we are all eagerly anticipating after a challenging time for us all. My further thanks to the National Seniors Committee and all on the Munster Branch for all their help and assistance throughout the year.

We will be hosting this event in line with all current Covid protocols that may be in place, and we thank you all for adhering to the rules, regulations and guidance to ensure we can all enjoy a fabulous two days on and off court.

I look forward to welcoming the players, captains and officials of the visiting Provinces to Waterford and sharing in a fantastic Championships.
