Music Legend Chicago is Joined by the Utica Symphony Orchestra For a Magical Night November 5 • 8 p.m.

T

he Great Artists Series presents an exciting night packed with hits when one of the longest-running groups in rock history is joined on stage by the Utica Symphony Orchestra, 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 5 in the Stanley Theater. Beginning with 1970’s Make Me Smile, Chicago® has enjoyed an incredible string of 21 Top 20 singles, including Saturday in the Park, If You Leave Me Now and You’re the Inspiration. They’re the first American band to chart Top 40 albums in five consecutive decades and Billboard's highest charting American band of all time. Tickets for this performance range in price from $32.50 to $127.50 and can be purchased through the Performing Arts Ticket Office at 797-0055 or 800-754-0797. Legends of Folk/Rock and Country Unite November 10 • 7:30 p.m.

olk/rock legend Roger McGuinn of The Byrds joins forces with fivetime Grammy winner, Marty Stuart and his band, the Fabulous Superlatives 7:30 p.m. Sunday, November 10, in the Stanley Theater for an explosive celebration of roots music.

Two legends, Byrds founder and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Roger McGuinn takes the stage with five-time Grammy Award winner Marty Stuart and The Fabulous Superlatives to perform Byrds’ classics (Mr. Tambourine Man, You Ain’t Going Nowhere and Turn, Turn, Turn) as well as personal favorites from both Roger and Marty. This concert is borne out of Stuart’s weekly TV show and combines a bit of the Grand Ol’ Opry with the ‘60s Sunset Strip to celebrate foot-stompin', tail-shakin', honky tonkin', music.
