Classical Trio to Perform Enchanting Concert in the Court Satur day, May 2 • 8 p.m.

he sweet sounds of Beethoven, Brahms and Gershwin will fill the Museum of Art as the Concerts in the Court series presents a very special night with the Eroica Trio at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 2 in the Museum of Art Root Sculpture Court.
The Grammy®-nominated Eroica Trio thrills audiences with flawless technical virtuosity, irresistible enthusiasm and sensual elegance. Whether playing the great standards of the piano trio repertoire or daring contemporary works, the three young women who make up this celebrated ensemble electrify the concert stage with their passionate performances. The Trio won the prestigious Naumburg Award, resulting in a highly successful Lincoln Center debut and has since toured the United States, Europe, and Asia. While maintaining their demanding concert schedule, the Eroica Trio has released eight critically lauded recordings for Angel/EMI Classics Records, garnering multiple Grammy® nominations. "They play chamber music for the concert hall. There is an edge of the seat intensity to every note they produce."—The New York Times Tickets for this performance and for all Concerts in the Court are $37.50 for members, $42.50 for general admission, and $22.50 for students. Flexible subscriptions are also available. The Museum opens at 7 p.m. so patrons may view the current exhibitions, socialize and visit the Museum Shop. he celebrated madcap scientist Doktor Kaboom! brings his interactive one-man science variety show to the For Kids and Families Series for one performance only at the Meyer Performing Arts Center, New Hartford on Saturday, May 16 at 1 p.m. Doktor Kaboom! blends theatre arts with the wonders of scientific exploration into an engaging experience for the whole family. Join the zany Doktor Kaboom! for a sidesplitting journey of increasingly spectacular, and often successful, experiments and demonstrations. Doktor Kaboom! keeps his crowds riveted with interest and rolling with laughter.
