Folk Rock Master Performs Special Concert in the Court in Association with Father’s Exhibition December 13 • 8 p.m.
C
oncerts in the Court presents the classic folk rock of the Jon Pousette-Dart Band 8 p.m. Saturday, December 13 in the Museum of Art Root Sculpture Court. This concert will coincide with the Museum of Art exhibition celebrating Jon’s father, Absence / Presence: Richard Pousette-Dart as Photographer on view through January 4. Jon Pousette-Dart has built his four-decade career with a gilded tenor and a smooth hand on the guitar. The Pousette-Dart Band was a 1970s radio mainstay, a favorite on the college circuit, and became one of the busiest touring groups in the US, playing arenas from coast to coast. His engaging melodies, catchy hooks and heartfelt ballads are optimistic and accessible. He's a confident and gracious performer with a well-earned diehard following, and new fans with each passing year. Tickets for this performance and all Concerts in the Court are $37.50 for members, $42.50 for general admission, and $22.50 for students. Flexible subscriptions are also available. The Museum opens at 7 p.m. so patrons may view the current exhibitions, socialize and visit the Museum Shop. Concerts in the Court also feature a cash bar and special gallery talks at intermission. For tickets contact the Performing Arts Ticket Office at 797-0055 or 800-754-0797. Tickets are also available online at www.mwpai.org.
Please Note: This concert was originally scheduled for November 15. There is no need to exchange tickets with the original date; they will be honored at the door. If you are unable to attend on December 13, please contact the Ticket Office for assistance. Concert and Exhibition Sponsored by Series Sponsored by

Her holiday cards have decorative paper layers, two- or three-dimensional diecuts, ribbons and bows for that very special person on your holiday list.
