This project is based on a 10,000-year speculative landscape succession of the foreland site in Iceland, which is facing melting glaciers, in the conceptual context of the acceleration of the next ice age due to global warming in the Anthropocene.

The project site was chosen in the Kalfafellsstadur canyon because is relatively closest to the period of ecological succession following the loss of glaciers. The project's speculation is based on the landscape hypothesis "New Ice Age", and it is speculated that global warming will melt the glaciers at the two poles and block the warm currents in the northern and southern hemispheres, thereby promoting the arrival of the Ice Age. The project will face the current unscrupulous global warming and the future "re-glaciated" stage for the future construction of a human settlement & refuge & human gene storage station & ice age seeding plan under the glacier.

The project begins with a preparatory phase to address carbon sequestration and initiate ecological recovery. The process involves simulating the weathering of moraine to accelerate its transformation into soil, with moss seeds planted to promote biological weathering. As the moss-soil ecosystem forms, additional plant species like lichens and shrubs are introduced to build an ecological chain, enriching the soil with bird excrement. This is followed by further moraine crushing and the addition of native trees like birch to enhance the ecosystem, creating a selfsustaining, resilient landscape for the future.

After constructing the speculative succession under the deep time span from the present to the coming ice age, the project proposes a symbiotic defensive landscape of man and nature, and the functional zoning within the project based on the topography and advantages of different regions. The project speculates on the order of human existence in the new century, including productivity, energy acquisition, ecological self-circulation and global political status.

Based on the defensive landscape after the glacier reappears when global warming leads to ice ages in the context of the Anthropocene -If the Ice Age comes again, what choices will humanity face? UOE

Field research

The project is located at the Kvijall Glacier in Vatnajökull National Park, Iceland. It is a study of the ecological succession of a specific moraine area and a design of a landscape ecological succession acceleration plan based on carbon sequestration strategies. The project selected several coastal glacial tongue areas as research objects for field research, and explored its ecological succession, river succession, and boundary changes with biological activity areas from the materiality of the site.

In the project, chose moraine as the research object and used a homemade device to explore its materiality on site. Through field investigation, explored the topography and state of its accumulation at the ice edge site, and further thought about the laws of its evolution.

According to the three selected sites, the ecological succession, river succession and biological activity area of the site are analyzed and analyzed over time to find the law.

Summarize the flood protection system of Edinburgh's coastline and the impact of sea level rise. Due to the impact of human activities and the intervention of human factors, the impact of sea level rise will have different effects on flood control docks in different regions. For the cramond area, since the natural landscape of the site itself accounts for the majority, the rising sea water has little impact on the living environment, but the rising sea level will submerge the existing huge area of intertidal zone, which will affect the local ecology. system with indelible effects.

The Basin Information of the Almond River

Due to the polluted mines left over from the industrial development of the site, the water quality of the river has been polluted by iron elements for a long time. At the same time, due to the large number of people in the upper reaches of the river, the drainage system inside the city is often out of control, and the river has been used for a long time as an open-air sewage outlet.

Domestic chamical and waste

Due to the reverse impact of seawater and fresh water, the sediment in the river will form the effect of reverse movement in the middle and on both sides under the interaction, and form a wave-shaped sediment pile platform.

When the sediment forms a certain height at one position, the impact of the water flow will rush the subsequent sediment to the next platform, thereby forming three horizontal waveshaped sediment piles.

Restore the ecological environment of berkish, expand the width of the river into the sea, use the energy of the estuary to form impact dykes and estuary islands, and increase the height of the site.

When the estuary forms a stable berkish ecology, the sites on both sides can form a large area of wetland landscape.

The problem of surface runoff was solved, and the

When new intertidal parks are constructed, both human and non-human creatures can share space. Different spaces have different usage methods. For the plank road, it is to provide a leisure space for human beings to roam in the natural environment. It's an animal paradise for those conversations that can't make infrastructure. The intertidal park just happens to form two non-overlapping spaces, reserving each other's activity space for human and non-human creatures.

Preservation and naturalizing recovery of the Summer Palace relics

The project is located in Qingyan Park, Kyushu, Old Summer Palace, Beijing, China. This design is to explore the uniqueness and evolution of historical landscapes in the modern development environment. With the passage of time, the natural environment has been changing. The landscape design focuses not on a certain point in time, but on the past and present unique to this site. We hope to continuously change its artistic layout through the method of Chinese gardens, so that this garden can show the temperament of the times through different forms of landscape, and reflect the landscape's response to time, events and evolution.

The project is located in the stagnant neighbourhood of the dead in Cairo, Egypt. This design takes the common belief in Islam as the design starting point, and combines the Muslim belief "Heavenly Garden" with the transformation of landscape architecture, aiming to integrate historical traces with modern slums, eliminate the boundary of the site, and blur the boundary between the rich and the poor to promote the development of urban fringe areas. The design retains the form of the existing house-style cemetery, repairs the underground cemetery area, increases the activity space and planting area, and creates a vertical landscape to establish a worship platform of common beliefs to stimulate the vitality of the site.

From the perspective of the "modern nomads"——beekeepers, the project puts forward the landscape design of "mobile container beekeeping base" through extensive research on their lifestyles and production methods to improve the need for beekeepers to move around all the year round. At the same time, it provides a big data platform to ensure the quality of honey throughout the country and provide highquality sales channels. The aims is to solve the problem of the honey industry being affected by the natural climate, improving the living life of beekeepers and achieving the continuous operation of their beekeepers.

Distill for Life

The project, located in Cedelo Pasque, Peru, aims to address the region’s longstanding environmental pollution problems caused by mining activities. Since the area has a long mining history and there is severe air and soil pollution in the environment, the design proposal proposes to build air-purifying public spaces within the city to improve the quality of life of local residents. The design aims to create an intelligent rainwater collection system that guides rainwater through underground channels to a special purification device. These devices will

Xi'an was once the world's commercial and trade center, and its internal street pattern is divided into "well" characters.

We use "well" as the basic unit to represent the meaning of openness and communication. Camels carry silk through the sand sea, which is a symbol of the "Silk Road". We abstracted it as a design form and named it "peak and valley" in hopes of carrying a thousand years of history. "Fenggu" is the same as "peak and valley", expressing the admiration and inheritance of the "Westward Migration Spirit" of last century.

We use "wells" as the basic unit to construct the form of "peaks and valleys" and express the spiritual connotation that meets the needs of the times with the cultural elements inherited from Qiangu and show the "vigorousness" of China in the new era.
