A Tandem Gate (also called a "Telescopic Gate") is a multiple piece gate system which layers the gate sections neatly behind one another as they slide back into one compact space. This allows for almost twice the opening width to slide back into half the space. To open and close, these utilize a powerful, yet whisper-quiet, rack & pinion motor.
