Messenger Muhammad desires to build these buildings which consist of a Mosque and School, this Spring, 1972. His Plans for Phoenix are like the Prophet Isaiah says: "Make the desert to bud roses." Phoenix will be proud of the Messenger's Building Plans. He wants to dignify the Black man and Black woman in Phoenix. We must remember that his Plans will produce employment for quite a few people.

The Muslim Program

This is the question asked most frequently by both the whites and the blacks. The answers to this question I shall state as simply as possible. 1. We want freedom. We want a full and complete freedom. 2. We want justice. Equal justice under the law. We want justice applied equally to all, regardless of creed or class or color. 3. We want equality of opportunity. We want equal membership in society with the best in civilized society. 4. We want our people in America whose parents or grandparents were descendants from slaves, to be allowed to establish a separate state or territory of their own—either on this continent or elsewhere. We believe that our former slave masters are obligated to provide such land and that the area must be fertile and minerally rich. We believe that our former slave masters are obligated to maintain and supply our needs in this separate territory for the next 20 to 25 years—until we are able to produce and supply our own needs. Since w e cannot g e t along w i t h t h e m i n peace a n d equality, after giving t h e m 400 years of our s w e a t and blood and receiving i n r e t u r n some of t h e w o r s t t r e a t m e n t h u m a n beings have ever experienced, w e believe o u r c o n t r i b u t i o n s t o t h i s land and t h e suffering forced u p o n u s by w h i t e America,

1. WE BELIEVE in the One God Whose proper Name is Allah. 2. WE BELIEVE in the Holy Qur an and in the Scriptures of all the Prophets of God. 3. WE BELIEVE in the truth of the Bible, but we believe that it has been tampered with and must be reinterpreted so that mankind wHI not be snared by the falsehoods that have been added to it. 4. W E BELIEVE i n Allah's Prophets a n d t h e Scriptures t h e y brought t o t h e people. 5. W E BELIEVE i n t h e resurrection o f t h e d e a d — n o t i n physical r e s u r r e c t i o n — b u t i n m e n t a l resurrection. W e c a n f i n d n o other persons f i t t i n g t h i s description i n these last days m o r e t h a n t h e so called Negroes i n America. W e believe i n t h e resurrection o f the'righteous. 6. WE BELIEVE in the judgment; we believe this first judgment will take place as God revealed, in America. . . 7. WE BELIEVE this is the time in history for the

We know that the above plan for the solution of the black and white conflict is the best and only answer to the problem between two people. 6. W e w a n t a n i m m e d i a t e end t o t h e police brutality and mob a t t a c k s against t h e so -called Negro t h r o u g h o u t t h e United S t a t e s . We recognize and respect American citizens as independent peoples and we respect their laws which govern this nation. 9. WE BELIEVE that the offer of integration is hypocritical and is made by those who are trying to deceive the black peoples into believing that their 400 year-old open enemies of freedom, justice end equality are, all of a sudden, their "friends". Furthermore, we believe that such deception is intended to prevent black I that the time m history has arrived

THE HONORABLE ELIJAH M U H A M M A D M E S S E N G E R OF A L L A H ' W e do n o t believe t h a t after 400 years of free or nearly free labor, s w e a t a n d blood, w h i c h h a s helped America become rich and p o w e r f u l , t h a t so m a n y t h o u s a n d s of black people should have t o subsist o n relief, charity or live in poor houses. 8.
