By Abraham Pasha As one who has been in the Nation many years looks at the beauty of our Temple, you cannot help but to reflect oh where we have come from, to this great day. From small store fronts, wooden benches and cold steel chairs to a structure (New Temple) setting on such a firm foundation which in itself testifies to the firm foundation upon which the Honorable Elijah Muhammad has built the Nation of Islam. Many of us can remember the Temple on 43rd Street in Chicago, 111., and how the Muslims sacrificed and worked hard to progress to the Temple on Greenwood Avenue. However, under the wise guidance of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad our progress was not to reach its peak on Greenwood in the
residential area, although we were able to move from wooden and steel chairs to semi -comfortable leather seats. And now, thanks to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad who seeks total comfort for the Blackman, as we step inside Muhammad's Temple No. 2 we see comfort and great beauty. Just look at what is pictured in this issue of Muhammad Speaks, such a beautiful sight and so inviting. Comfortable to sit in and beautiful to look at, gold in color and cushioned to offer just the right support to the body while receiving the right support for the mind. From the system of physical and now mental slavery, which saps the very strength of a man, the Blackman needs a place of comfort and Muhammad's Temple No. 2 is that place. The world has looked for a Comforter ever since the
death of Jesus, and as we examine w Messenger Muhammad gives to entire Black world, our Comforter here. So I say to you my Black brothers ; sisters, come and sit in God's House, 2 receive God's Wisdom, from God's 1 Messenger to us all. Come, sit, list learn and be relieved of your burdens i your fears. See for yourself what can ÂŁ is being done in your behalf, for all tl Messenger Muhammad h accomplished, is for you. Islam offers you comfort and it stai at the very introduction to you of our w of life. As we look at the beauty a comfort of Muhammad's Temple No. what can we say other than, All Prais are due to Allah for the Honorable Elijj Muhammad.
