I
t is a new boat that is characterized by its power and its aesthetic details. It has been designed by Gerard Puxhe with the collaboration of RodriguezDesign on the cover modules. The UX is a daycruiser designed and produced entirely in Spain. Titan Yachts has a 46' as its next short-term project. The UX presented has a length of 9 m, a beam of 2.9 m and is powered by two Mercury Racing outboard engines of 250 HP each that allow it to reach a maximum speed of knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots. The shipyard also offers sterndrive engines with stern-drive transmissions. This open daycruiser has been custom configured for a client, it has a carbon fiber hard-top with a 305 Wp solar panel that provides energy to make use of all electrical equipment and services such as refrigerators, HiFi system and TV. uninterrupted during the day.
The shipyard also offers the possibility of building a 100% ecological version thanks to the two planned 80 Hp outboard electric motors powered by a 305 Wp photovoltaic panel. The solar panel will provide up to 2 hours of navigation depending on cruising speeds.
User Experience Titan Yachts has focused its proposal based on the analysis concerning the expected interaction between the user and the devices, with the aim of offering the best experience to the demanding owner, in navigation and on-board entertainment. One of those experiences is, without a doubt, the great performance of the UX with a maximum speed of up to 45 knots. Affordable performance thanks to a hull designed for this purpose that shows a large angle in the keel of the hull. Which boat should I rent? Choosing a rental boat in México is not as complex as it seems nor as simple as it sounds; today the nautical industry in our country offers countless options. Next, we will tell you the characteristics of each of these types of boat and categories, allowing you to choose the best option for your experience. LARBOARD
STARBOARD
VESSEL: Refers to a smaller boat that is a maximum of 78 meters in length. YACHTS: As in the previous ones, the definition of a yacht does not come precisely from its length (size) but from its purpose, we can find boats from 32 feet to 78 feet with sail or motor that meet this category, the purpose of a yacht is specifically for recreation . LARGE YACHTS: Boats from 78 feet to 131 feet, sailing or motor for recreational purposes. SUPER YACHTS: Boats from 131 feet to 196 feet, sailing or motor for recreational purposes. MEGA YACHTS: Boats of more than 196 feet, sail or motor for recreational purposes. Another factor that can help us determine the yacht condition for a boat is its resistance, that is, the type of waves and the strength of the wind that it is able to withstand calmly without worry. In this sense, we can establish two types of yachts and two types of boats: Class A yachts: boats prepared to navigate the open sea in bad seas and storms, being able to withstand waves of 4 meters and winds of up to 70-80 kilometers per hour. This type of boat is considered a “yacht”.

BOAT: We define it as any floating device with propulsion and steering that exceeds 8 Feet in length (size from stern to bow).

STERN Class B Yachts: Boats built to navigate coastal waters within 320 kilometers of the coast and are often called “ocean-going vessels.” This class of boat is also considered a “yacht”, but anything lower than this class B is called a boat and not a yacht. Class C boats: vessels designed for navigation on and near the coast (including lakes, rivers and bays) that can withstand waves of 1-1.5 meters maximum. Therefore, this class of boats cannot be considered yachts, in the same way as the next one. Class D boats: boats designed to navigate protected waterways and prepared to withstand a maximum of waves of half a meter or less and winds of 20-24 kilometers per hour.
SAILBOATS: In general terms, it is that boat that is mostly or definitely propelled by the action of the wind, the sailboats that we all regularly know when hearing the word sailboat, are monohulls, these are boats with a single hull. Although we can find multihulls, which will be known later, a monohull is usually not very spacious, and due to its structure, stability is variable. SPEED BOATS: We describe them as light boats that reach greater speed than a regular boat, there is a wide variety of categories in them such as little boats, they are essential for fishing activities, recreation or simply sailing with a small group of guests with certain comforts. CATAMARANS: We can find them with sail or motor, they depend on two hulls which makes this boat very spacious and stable, they are excellent for short and medium range crossings, some even opt for continental crossings.
FISHING YACHTS: They offer overall widths with great stability and plenty of space, elevated bows that protect from waves, deep bows to soften impacts, and sterns with good buoyancy to maximize comfort.
CRUISER YACHTS: Cruiser yachts are all about space and comfort over speed and performance. They have the maximum possible comfort and offer ample space to spend the night on board. QUESTIONS
How much does a private boat vacation cost? First we must know that the rental modalities in Mexico are different, for example: in Cancun, Quintana Roo; Acapulco, Guerrero; Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco/Nayarit (Bahía de Banderas); and Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur (BCS) the usual modality is hourly rental, however in La Paz, it is usually rented per night, this has been mainly influenced by the variety of places that each area has that are attractive for ocean lovers, which for some the hours are not enough for others the nights are enough, it all depends on the type of vacation you want take. In terms of hourly costs, sailing boats are usually cheaper, this is because engines are not always used and in short they consume less fuel. On the other hand, yacht vacations per night are really not more expensive than a fivestar hotel on land, but when comparing we must take into account that a nautical experience for several nights, you have accommodation, transfers, walks and, above all, the ease of visiting places with difficult access by land, without having to change hotels or pack and unpack suitcases, making your vacational time more productive.
How are the cabins? Most of the boats have private cabins with doors and very spacious double beds that allow you to sleep very comfortably with total privacy. Some have single beds located in the living room. The ships also usually have bathrooms with showers and hot water.

How to manage the meals? For meals you have several possible options: Buy food before sailing (the piers where the boats are located have good markets nearby) and cook on board, taking advantage of the refrigerator and kitchen on the ship. In this case, your vacation will be even cheaper. Eat in typical restaurants that can be found and enjoy the traditional seasoning of the coast. Hire a chef to take care of the issue. Among those three options, all combinations are possible.
Can I get off the boat? Of course, you can get off the boat as many times as you want. Most nightly rental boats have a dinghy or small boat so you can go down to any place where the boat cannot access the beach. If the boat does not have this small boat, the crew will coordinate one to allow you to do it.
What are the things you should take with you? When you rent a boat you should not forget your sunscreen, sunglasses, a light coat in case it gets cold at night, a good book and a great desire to enjoy!
Where can I sunbathe? All boats have shady places to take care of yourself at midday and for those who do not want to be in the sun. And they also have comfortable areas where you can place a mat on the deck and fully enjoy the sun.
What if I get dizzy? Although all the boats are in very calm places to sail and their Captains know the area perfectly, some people are worried about getting seasick. Not all adults get motion sickness, and most children don't either. There are many recommendations to avoid seasickness: look at a fixed point in the distance, take the helm of the boat, do not read inside the cabins and also, for those who need it, there are medications. 10 Words that every sailor should know WINDWARD This is the direction in which the wind is blowing, facing it. It is the opposite of leeward. LENGTH OVERALL The length is the length of the boat and is commonly measured in Feet. A foot being approximately 30 cm. It should be noted that we can differentiate several lengths. Waterline length, length between perpendiculars, maximum length and overall length. STARBOARD This is the right side of the boat. Always keeping in mind that you look from stern to bow. OVERALL WIDTH OF SHIP This is the measurement of the boat, always transversely, from the tip of the bow in a straight line to the stern of the vessel. Should be always measured by the widest part of the boat. The maximum beam would be the measurement of the boat in the transverse direction while the beam at the waterline is what is measured at the waterline of the boat. BOW It is the front part of the boat, whose utility is to cut the waters. The bow is also called the anterior third of the ship. Like the stern, depending on its shape it can be classified as: straight, thrown, clipper, among others. LEEWARD It is the direction opposite to the direction in which the wind is blowing at that moment. RUDDER SHIP The rudder is a flat piece of wood that sits under the boat and is used to steer the boat. It can be made of wood, fiberglass, or metal. LINE Line is any of the ropes found on a ship. ANCHORING Anchoring is the maneuver to immobilize a boat using an anchor. STERN This is the rear of the ship, that means, the back of the ship, where the hull structure ends. And it is the end opposite to the bow. It should be noted that the rear third part of the ship is also called the stern. In addition, depending on its shape we can find several categories: round, tugboat, standard, "culo de mona", among others.
