BluThorn Holdings is a Botswana based financial services group, primarily focused on Asset Management and Business Finance. While BluThorn is a commercial venture, we are proud to play an active role in the development of Botswana through focusing on local investments in support of local enterprise development. Through our double bottom line approach, we invest the wealth of Batswana, in Botswana, with the intention of a financial return, but also a social return for Batswana.

MANAGEMENT Bluthorn Fund Managers Limited (BFM) is an Investment Company with Variable Capital (ICVC) incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Botswana and is authorised to operate as a Collective Investment Undertaking (CIU) by the NBFIRA and constitutes an umbrella fund out of which various sub-funds may be established. With its head office based in Gaborone, Botswana, BFM offers the people of Botswana investment options and solutions seeking both growth and income. Our strategies aim to add value through intelligent diversification methods and portfolio options with attractive risk or return characteristics. Our mission is to create profitable partnerships. We are focused on creating financial security for investors by taking a long-term approach to investment decisions and business strategy.

• Responsible for overall business and staff. • Extensive experience in the fields of financial management, asset management and investment management. • General Manager (BPOPF): provided strategic leadership in the provision of Finance, Investment and Accounting, ICT, and Human Capital Strategies to management and board of trustees. • Ensured adequate security of assets of the organisation by deploying appropriate risk management strategies. • Previously Director Financial Services BOCODOL. Financial Officer and Fund Administrator Tiro Semumu Qualified ACCA, Higher NAtional Diploma (HND) in Accountancy and Business Studies • Tiro is responsible for all Financial and Fund Administration Operations at BluThorn Fund Managers, his duties covering preparation of yearly interim financial statements for compliance purposes, IFS compliance of statutory • accounts and financial accounting of transactions and other financial and administrative activities. • Tiro previously worked as Accounts Supervisor (Assistant Departmental Accountant) - Fixed Assets and Capital Accounting and Treasury & Finance at Botswana power Corporations (BPC) for over 14 years. • He brings a wealth of experience in Financial Control and Fund Administration to BluThorn operations with over 15 years to date.

• Responsible for Portfolio management, Company Analysis and Implementation of credit deals. • Served internships at Reis Company Services (Pty) Ltd, Ananth Certified Public Accountants and Price Waterhouse Coopers. • Graduate diploma in Finance and Master’s Degree in Financial Analysis and Fund Management. • Passed CFA Level 2 exams – Currently a candidate in the CFA programme’s final level exam.

Head of Business Development and Client Service Joseph Batsalelwang MSc Finance, MSc Strategic Management, Post Graduate Risk, Diploma Business Studies. • Responsible for business development and general management of day to day operations. • Joseph has 15 years of financial industry experience, spanning lending origination, asset management, business development and capital raising. • Specific to asset raising, Joseph has raised over P1 billion within Botswana to date. • Prior to joining the BluThorn Group, he was Head of Business Development at African Alliance Botswana, as well as having roles prior to that at Letshego and Bank Gaborone (BG Finance).

BLUTHORN CAPITAL GROWTH (BCG) FUND ISSUER Bluthorn Fund Managers Ltd (“BFM”), CO2016/1545, is licensed and regulated as a collective investment undertaking (CIU) with the Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority (NBFIRA) of Botswana since 21 March 2016 under certificate number 0003/RFII. BFM is an open-ended investment company with variable capital established as an umbrella fund having segregated liability between its Funds, and each Fund may comprise one or more Classes. INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE To provide investors with a higher than market related rate of return while achieving the twin goals of firstly, ensuring minimal chance of capital loss and secondly achieving noteworthy developmental results in the jurisdictions it operates in. INVESTMENT POLICY To provide for and create a secured environment for investors to obtain higher investment returns than are usually available in the market, the fund will invest a portion of the capital in investment grade long term paper to ensure that the chances of capital loss for investors are minimized. INVESTMENT DYNAMICS Dependant on available rates and chosen term a part of the investment buys investment grade instruments and the balance is invested for Developmental activities. When a longer investment term is chosen more of the investment will be allocated to developmental activities thus increasing the impact of the investment. The capital invested into investment grade instruments will return a 100% of the initial investment and the returns generated by the BCG Fund’s Developmental activities provides for the growth component of the investment. The Fund’s Developmental activities will inter alia result in: • • • •

Supplier Development: Ability to execute tailored Supplier Development programs with the additional support and governance provided by the BCG Fund.
